Norma Scott with Ozark Public Television, KOZJ, joined us to talk about Vettes in the Midwest 2010. She thinks the event will receive a grant from the Convention Bureau. In order to receive that grant she said several critera needs to be met. One suggestion from the Bureau was to offer Cash prizes for different things such as longest distance, oldest car, etc. She suggested we have several different committee's to coordiinate the different events so we wouldn't run into the problems that occured last year. Mary Lou Bruggeman suggested we offer more door prizes. A meeting with Norma, Bruce Layman and Larry Lankford will be scheduled to talk about this event.
