Sarah O'Toole with a nice version of Cloudy Marc. Terry Lewis was mentioned in the blurb.

First of all, many thanks, for the positive comments!
I did indeed take the video down, because I had an issue with a copyright infringement notice on my account (not from any of the AWB gang), and was scared off from sharing any other covers... But I've put it back up, because I think the AWB chaps are nice guys, and they would realise Terry and I were making a tribute to, rather than ripping off their music.
So, here you go!

Does this count as a cover? (filmed by a monkey - me!)
Because the bootleg is of questionable qualiity It won't be up very long so watch it while you can.
PS - 'The Friends' little mini tour was great fun - we had full houses in Southend and Brighton and some great feedback. Whats more the whole band were lovely and all a little sad that it's come to an end...for this year at least.
Nice one.

| Nice and slow. It's a pity Jo Harman isn't opening for all of AWB's UK tour. Maybe next year? Kokomo were great openers for AWB in the 70s. Whatever happened to opening acts?
This is a very nice cover of What'cha Gonna Do for Me:

Posted August 22nd, 2011 11:34 PM IP yeah, i always like to watch the support bands. As long as they aren't some local semi pros who are the promoters cousins or something then supports often add a lot to the night. Over the years I've seen A1 acts like Brand New Heavies, Mamas Gun, Amy Winehouse and Phantom Limb (my favourite current band) all play support slots and go on to much better things. Some of them blew the main acts away (I won't name names) and those that didn't at least kept the headliners honest! Kokomo were great - still follow many of their members to this day.
Obviously I'm biased but I think Jo's a good fot with AWB and they benefit from being associated with a young up and coming artist too perhaps.
It's a dodgy podcast, soundwise, but here's the show AWB fans at Wolves, Newcastle and Cambridge can see http://www.justin.tv/hdsander/b/292788784

Posted August 22nd, 2011 11:39 PM IP Oh and Harry - you might recognise the last but one number. I'll always be grateful to tipping me off to Citizen Cope.....seems Jo feels him too!
The guitar solo is by Dave Ital one of the Uk's finest guitar players - Amy, Beyonce, Womack, Chaka, Anita Baker, Bev Knight..the list is endless. We're very honoured he is on this tour as Jo's guitarist (and not for the money let me tell you! He just digs her!)
