WOOOOOOOWEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!
Skip fired the first shot at about 10:15A.M. Saturday the 24th of September!
We had quite a turnout.
The weather was fantastic.
We had 60 balloons stapled up on each the 400 and 600yard target fences and Skips first shot nailed the first balloon!
THE FIRST SHOT TAKEN ON THE LONG RANGE WAS A BULLSEYE!
Skip then called the range hot and we commenced firing, ballons where dying at a rapid pace.
We grilled some fantastic hamburgers and hotdogs, we had plenty of cold drinks.
I think everybody had a great time, I sure know I did, popping balloons at 600 yards was a blast.
I want to thank everyone of you that turned this wish into reality, there has been a bunch of hard work put in by a bunch of good members.
People that physically helped, people that sponsored benches, people that bought raffle tickets, members that just voiced support................Thank you.
REMEMBER THAT YOU MUST ATTEND A QUALIFICATION AND BECOME CERTIFIED BEFORE YOU CAN USE THIS FACILITY.
Come on sign up and get your sticker this is BIG FUN.

Yes sir, thanks to all who participated in making the LR project happen.
I was thinking about the weather during the construction of the LR.
We started out freezing our butts off, then got blowed out, rained on and in the end sweated like pigs.
