TO the "Lilly Livered Coward" that shot our 300 yard range sign.
You are total scum and you don't belong!
You should not be allowed to own a slingshot much less a rifle.
You exhibit the judgement of a three year old.

To the real members of BASC,
It is a big hole, looks like maybe a .50, if you have ANY information on the child that did this please get it to me. We must get rid of MORONS that do this kind of stuff.

I couldn't agree more.
But might I add this.
One of our members, who is a real man by the way, took it upon himself to make those signs and put them up.
He didn't ask for any help, or money, or broadcast his good deed.
What a selfish and disrespectful act it was to shoot the sign.
Kids do stupid things for attention, so I know there was at least one witness. If anyone knows who did it, man up and give us a name.

I totally agree with both of the above posts. I felt a similar way when I discovered the yardage markers that had been originally placed on the pistol range for the CHL class had been shot out.

The vandalism has truly gotten out of hand. Even one instance is too much but with all the shot up target stands, wheels run over on the gate, yard markers shot up, trees shot up at the new shotgun range, there just seems to be no end to it.
Bill, it looks like the last marker on the right has already been shot off, unless you broke the top off when you drove it in the ground.

I personally offer a $100.00 cash reward for evidence leading to the conviction ( by the Board of Directors ) of the IDIOT or IDIOTS that are vandalising our club property!
This offer is in NO WAY connected to the Board of Directors of the BASC, this is me and only me personally!

I am deeply saddened by this report and to some degree take it as a personal affront.
In my lifespan I have seen much that should not have occurred, but this sort of stuff just baffles me. The question comes up, “why”? People that care, have busted their butt to create a recreational facility that is equal to some and more than others! The annual membership fee is minimal when you consider what some other ranges charge. Our facility lacks only one thing that would make it equal to any other, that being “target pits”, but we don’t need them!
In every walk of life there are always some 10%’s that stand on the side lines wailing and moaning “get-er-done” but never break a sweat to accomplish that goal, yet come after the fact and destroy the accomplishments of others.
Consider this. There are those that took time away from family and other obligations to help create the facility that you so thoughtlessly abuse. I would hope justice is swift and harsh! As an after thought I would add that anyone having knowledge of such acts and hiding the fact, that justice and punishment should equally apply.
