Posted October 24th, 2011 09:16 PM IP  The KG 12 works pretty good.I run a couple of tight patches with Butches Bore Shine.Then soaked the brush with the same and brushed the bore.Then a cople of passes with tight dry patches to dry out the bore.Then I wet a patch with KG 12 and run it thru the bore let set for 4 Or 5 minute.Wet a brush with the same .After brushing I ran a jag with a KG 12 soaked patch 2 or 3times.Then run a couple of passes thru the bore with tight dry patches .then put a light coat of Butches oil thru the bore.Cleans pretty good.Sounds like a lot but only takes less than 10 minute.And the bore ia very clean as far as I can tell. Stand up for what you believe is right.Never ever retreat from that.Is called character!!!

Posted October 25th, 2011 09:33 AM IP  That's pretty much what I do but I have never brushed with KG_12. I use the brush for carbon and the chemical ( patches ) for copper. I find that if I leave the KG in the bore very long it gets gummy I usually don't leave it in the bore quite so long but as per the KG literature it won't hurt a thing.
I just use a lubricant on the brushes so the copper solvent doesn't eat them........
