i have a ruger 77 "tang safety" in 280 remington that id like to send to a new home. the rifle has a simmons atec 2.8 to 10 x 40 scope, leather sling and soft case that goes in on the deal. also all load notes and possibly brass and dies if you ask real nice. this rifle is a good shooter 1/2 inch or less if i do my part.

That sounds like a great buy. I like the tang safety too!

thanks jim its a nice rifle that needs a new home. alot of people dont understand the .280 is the best of the .270 and 30-06 in one package

The thing I like most about the .280 is the bullet choice is SO much better than that for the .270.
Between the .270, .280 and '06 the .280 wins every time.
