Posted May 24th, 2010 10:25 PM IP Didn't expect a personal invite.
Met several nice people out at the range and hope to meet a lot more.
Anyone have an informal match? Or just want to meet and shoot?
I live in Mont Belvieu and my neighbor got me motivated to join and we've been shooting half a dozen times now and needing to do more - especially now that the weather has heated up (oops).
Shoot mostly pistols, but have several rifles that need attention.
Enjoy reloading and casting, but would rather shoot.

Posted May 25th, 2010 03:36 PM IP What time is the Sunday morning gathering? First light or the crack of noon?
What is the usual agenda? Rifles or pistols? I need to know what to bring.
Just read the minutes about the 600 yard range. Will that be completed this year? When is the next scheduled work day? I planned to attend until the rain started.

Posted May 26th, 2010 12:37 PM IP Pistols would be great! No promises as to when, though. I'll see if neighbor is up for it also. He's having the can't see the front sight problem with glasses and can't see the target without. Or visa versa.
Trying to get him to try a scoped pistol now.
Thick skin, huh? Sounds ominous. I hope no one makes fun of my shooting! I used to be better with a shotgun at close range.
