(This is actually the first chapter to a story of mine, but I'd really like an RP. My coming posts won't be quite as long as this. You're post could be hours later, months later or even years later. The point is that Harry died.)

Adelaide Winter, a nineteen year old girl, was surrounded by Death Eaters and frightening creatures. Her hair, just as white as the Malfoys, whipped around her face and covered her dark eyes. The scene was cold and even though there was a fire in the middle of the clearing, she did not feel its warmth. The coldness of the night chilled her to the bone as she waited in anticipation.

On the outskirts of the clearing were two giants. And even though their large presence frightened many death eaters, she was not bothered. Even with Fenrir Greyback, who stood chewing on his filthy nails, to her left. Lucius Malfoy was across the clearing from her, his face was just as grim as his wife’s, who stood next to him.

Everyone was looking at the Dark Lord, terrified and yet excited. No one dared to speak or make a noise. So when Yaxley and Dolohov entered the clearing, it seemed as if everyone had drawn in a breath and held it, waiting for the news they longed to hear. Dolohov opened his mouth and spoke, “no sign of him, my Lord.”

Adelaide’s head whipped towards the Dark Lord in fear. What would happen if Harry Potter did not show up? How could he be so sure that a boy barley of age would come to him?

“My Lord,” Bellatrix Lestrange, who sat the closest to him, spoke up, “Let me bring him to you.”

“Shut it, Bellatrix. How many times does he have to tell you no? Are you that desperate for attention?” Adelaide eyed the older woman who turned her head and glared.

“Quiet,” even though Voldemort had whispered the word, the two girls obeyed without hesitation and turned their eyes back to him. “I expected him to come. I was, it seems, mistaken.”

“You weren’t!” A unmistakably familiar voice shouted and then he walked through the trees. Harry Potter had finally arrived. Adelaide and Bellatrix’s laugh was drowned out by the giant’s roars.

“Harry Potter,” Voldemort spoke softly, “the Boy Who Lived.” There was a moment of silence before he slashed his wand through the air and shot the Unforgivable Curse at the boy, who had been hit on his left breast and fell backwards. For a moment it seemed as though cheers would break out, but that was until they all turned towards their master and saw him lying on the forest floor. It was as if he had been hit by the curse, just like the boy. A few death eaters moved forward, but kept a safe distance. No one, not even the giants, dared to make a sound.

It was a few moments until Bellatrix crept forward a few paces and spoke in a whisper, “My lord . . . my lord.”

“That will do.” Voldemort pulled himself to his feet and those who had moved forward, now returned to their original places.

“My lord, let me-“ Bellatrix started but was cut off.

“I do not require assistance.” The coldness in his voice was easy to hear. “The boy is he dead?” There was a moment of silence in the clearing, in which all eyes had turned to the figure still laying on the forest floor.

“You!” Voldemort pointed his wand at Adelaide, “Examine him.”

Without hesitation, she stepped forward. All eyes were on her, watching as she stepped confidently out of her place and strode over to the boy. His mouth was open and his arm bent out at an awkward angle. She placed her hand over his left breast and paused. Nothing. To make sure she was correct she placed her ear on his chest and listened.

There was no sound of a heart beating.

“He is dead!” she called out jubilantly. The clearing exploded with the sounds of victory. The giants roared while the dead eaters cheered and sent sparks from their wands into the sky. She could feel the victory as her dark mark burned. It would have made her cry out in pain if she had not been so happy and excited.

The battle was over, Voldemort had won.

I Think I'm interested. What sort of plot are we going for here though? Like another resistance against voldemort in the future or what?

Let's make it a year later? That way things will have developed like 'the resistance' and perhaps wizarding villages will have been deserted. I wonder if I'm explaining myself right haha. I'm excited to see where this goes.

(Okay I was wondering what gender my character should be. -sobs- I accidently hit the reset button -beats the crap out of it- )

A year had passed since Harry Potter had foolishly gave his life up trying to defeat Voldemort. Of course he was killed and now Voldemort had control of the entire wizarding world and was already leaking into the Muggle world. Many wizards have gone into hiding or did a hell lot of wards outsides their home. Sadly not many people knew how to and their villages were destoryed. The members on the otherside have lost how many people had joined Voldemort (most by force). The former Order was almost dead but that didnt' mean they were giving up. Andres Sinclaire was the leader of one of those organizations. Andres was considered a force to watch out for with his ablitity to duel. Andres couldn't help but to feel slightly proud that Voldemort was worried about him but he knew that he wasn't giong to come after him. No, Voldemort was more worried about the people who were close to Harry Potter than some random person who was a year older than Harry.

Walking in the streets of London, Andres didn't stand out at all with a hoodie pulled over his head. No, many people walked around like this, not because there was always a chance of rain, but to avoid making eye contact. No one really knew who you are until they make eye contact. He had his arms in the pocket of his hoodie which made it so much more easier to keep his wand on him. He was going to a secret meeting in the underground with members from different societies who were battling agaisnt Voldemort. Though he missed his entrance simply because he felt someone following him. His grip tighten on his wand.

(Oh that’s awful! I’m so sorry! Were you not able to CTRL+Z? BTW I love your post )

Something was going on, she was so sure of it. There were whispers of it too. Very few and very quiet, but they were there. Voldemort didn’t know about it just yet, why bother a busy man who is doing all he can to create a better world for his people? No, Adelaide decided to investigate this herself. As Voldemorts new best lieutenant now that he had killed Snape and Bellatrix had been murdered. But those two deserved it. After all Snape had been a double agent and was feeding information directly to Albus Dumbledore. And ever since Bellatrix was murdered by Molly Weasly, the whole family has been in hiding.

With the new order coming into plan slowly but surely, there was a lot to do. Mostly it was to round up the truants who refused to be properly educated at Hogwarts. Those who were not half blood or pure needed to be exterminated as well. In the process many wizarding villages were destroyed but that was a price that needed to be paid. After all, it was all for the greater good. Voldemort had said so himself.

For a while Adelaide wandered the streets of London. The muggles had noticed something change but continued on with their everyday lives, just a little more cautious than they would have a year ago. The tip off that she had gotten was from a mudblood some newbie deatheaters had caught. Before she could ask anymore questions concerning the topics they newbies had killed them. In their minds it was ‘kill first and ask questions later.’ The only information that she had received was it was near the heart of London and a man named Andres.

With her morning spent staring at the faces of those she passed, she spotted what she thought was a suspicious man. He walked with his hood up, head bent down and hands in his pockets. At first he appeared normal to her, but it was the way he was walking, brisk and that he refrained from eye contact with people who looked at him curiously. Not only that but there seemed to be something in his pocket. She followed him for a while, very slowly creeping up on him.

Pushing her white as snow hair out of her blue eyes she tapped him on the shoulder and plastered a fake smile on her face, “S’cuse me. It’s my first time to London and I was wondering if you could point me in the direction of the underground?”

(I hope it's alright)

(nope, doesn't work so be careful)

Andres straighten and looked down at the girl. Being so tall, over six meters tall, he had a problem sticking out. Plus when he straighten from his slouched position, he grew a couple more inches, easily a head taller than her. He thought about being rude to her, saying that he was in a rush but that really wasn't the time of person Andres was. Nodding, he said, "Of course. This way Miss."

Andres led her down to the underground system as he looked at his watch. Damn he was late. Oh well, I'm sure that they'll be fine once he told them that he took a little detour. They might not like it but it was rude to just push a lady off and two, she might be the person that he was feeling watching him. After all, what girl as pretty as she just approaches a strange figure in a hoodie?

Reaching to the bottom of the stairs, he stopped just behind the pay tolls and asked, "Do you know where you're headed Miss?"

Adelaide tilted her head as she surveyed the boy. He was tall and burly, definitely the guy that most people would not want to cross. Watching as he checked his watched she frowned, "Oh, I'm sorry. Did I interrupt sorry?" Silently cursing herself, she wished she had sounded more innocent, and not as sarcastic. But what did she care if she interrupted his daily schedule. If the rumors were true then he was going against the code of the new regime. And that code was to fully obey Lord Voldemort.

As they entered the underground, Adelaide sneered. How could muggles travel this way? Standing next to sweaty people, pushed together. Muggles were disgusting, they deserved to be pushed down. Why should wizards and witches have to hide? What was there to hide? Soon, very soon, they would come out of hiding, but the first step is to crush the resistance.

Adelaide had chosen to go to the underground for a reason. She didn't care about slaughtering the muggles around her, but this guy would. "No, but you do." Adelaide smirked and slipped her hand into her overcoat, gripping her wand. A wicked smirk spread across her face as she said, "and if you refuse to tell me where this meeting is, I think I'll blast this place apart"

(It's up to you what you want to do. He can refuse and battle or what. You don't know how excited I am for your next post haha)

Andres looked at her and something about her comment made him grip his wand tighter in his jacket. She was grateful one moment then the next, it seemed like she was sarcastic. Something about this didn't click about her but something didn't fully click until he saw her reach into her overcoat. That's when something finally clicked and he pulled out his own wand, taking a few feet back. A witch, and no doubt a follower of Voldemort.

Looking at her, he said, "Well someone leaked it out but no matter." Though with wand raised, he was calm, like they were just having a conversation. "Now I'm afraid that I can't agree to either. I'm certainly not going to give you the location of this so called meeting which could be anywhere and about anything. I'm also not giong to let you hurt the muggles in here. A simple levatation charm would keep the ceiling from collasping while everyone escapes. Once the two of us are left alone in here, what do you plan to do then?" He had been told before that he sometimes behaved like Dumbledore, just calm and not intimidated by the enemy.

(I just did what you did earlier -facepalm-)

Adelaide tilted her head to the side considering the man in front of her. The way he acted and spoke reminded her of the late Albus Dumbledore, who was proof that nice guys finish last. It was true that a simple levitation spell would keep the roof from collapsing in, but what about the floor or if she decided to procure a hurricane? However, those were messy and she risked getting hurt herself. And was it worth if she was out of work for days or weeks? Not at all.

As he pulled his wand out she did the same. The muggles that passed by them looked at them as if they were mad. "Would you risk the lives of the innocent muggles you love so much?" a mad grin grew on her face as she pointed her wand over his shoulder.

(you didn't disappoint)

(I know it sucks doesn't it? lol)

Andres looked around and saw her pointing her wand at the bystanders around them. They were watching them as if they had lost their minds. He couldn't believe he was going to say this but he looked at her with sad eyes and said, "A few muggles is nothing compared to the peace that we're looking forward to." He let out a soft sigh and muttered, "Dumbledore would have disapproved but some muggles dying is better than a rebellion lost."

A moment later, Andres threw a disarming jinx to her and dodged away. Lucky the muggles knew this wasn't fake and tried to run to safety. He had to get her out of here but there were some problems. Out in the open more people could be hurt and more people can come into battle. He hid behind one of the concrete pillars and waited for her move.

The little negotiation was not going how Adelaide had planned. Perhaps this man wasn't just like Dumbledore. He wouldn't have sacrificed muggles, but this guy was ready to do that. It was a setback. How could she get him to take her to the meeting now? It had only occurred to her that she should have used a disillusionment charm and trailed him from behind. But like always, her eagerness and confidence had gotten the best of her and she underestimated her opponent.

The disarming charm hit her wand and it flew into the air. While she fell to the floor to pick it up, the muggles started to run and her target hid. "You want to sacrifice them. Fine." she shrieked and sent a killing curse flying through the air. But she didn't know if it hit someone or not, she was too busy looking for him, but there were more than a dozen pillars.

"Reducto!" She shouted, aiming at a random pillar.

Andres cursed mentally when she sent the killing curse. He didn't know where it went but he hoped that no one was caught in the way. Though he knew that she was going to try to get him out of hiding, he knew that he was the prime target and wasn't going to sacrifice the muggles.

He couldn't help but to flinch when a pillar nearby him was destoried. Mentally cursing, he looked around, trying to find a way out. There wasn't a way without being noticed. Sighing, he had to duel his way out. Putting defense wards on the pillar, he peeked out from the side and threw a spell. He was safe for now as long as he focused, the pillar would remain for the most part.

(Sorry for the delay! I had to work the week leading up to the holidays and then the holidays came haha)

Adelaide laughed as the pillar she had shot exploded and chunks of concrete flew in every direction. The nearby muggles who had been looking at them in amusement earlier, now knew that this was no joke, and that the two people with sticks in their hands weren't mad, they were serious. Screams broke out as the crowed scattered. Some people ran, but others ducked, covering their heads.

She was just getting ready to taunt him, try to make him come out, when a spell came flying at her. The only reason it missed, was that she had turned her head. It shot past her, so close that she could feel it go by. “You know, with aim like that, you’d make a valuable death eater.” She shot another spell at a pillar and that one exploded, but the boy was still not visible. Out of pure annoyance, she aimed her wand at the pillar in front of her and it exploded. Adelaide smirked as the boy darted away from it, saving himself from the concrete rocks that were flying through the air.

Just as she was about to aim the imperius curse at him, a stray rock hit her in the back of the head. The blow hit her so hard that she saw stars and fell to her knees. With the stars still in her eyes she turned around and faced a now frightened muggle. It was obvious that they didn’t expect her to recover from the blow. She was feeling dizzier at the moment, but her job was so important that she used all of her willpower to stay focused. “Do you have a death wish?” She asked the muggle and opened her mouth, ready to kill the pathetic bag of flesh.

(sorry I godmodded you a bit, I just realized that D: )

(Well hope you had a happy holiday. And it's okay. Something little like that is fine.)

Andres frowned at her words but paid no mind to it for now. He knew that he was strong, hell, he was probably taking on one of the top death eaters Voldemort had. His grip on his wand tighten at the thought. He was one of the strongest of the rebellion, the youngest and the fastest. He was close to the strongest but not yet.

Andres noticed the spell hit the pillar very quickly and moved to dodge it. Luckily he did and picked a pillar further back. When he was safe, he peered around the pillar and saw her and a muggle that was watching her. Annoyed, he waved his wand and pushed the muggle out of the way so that he wasn't anywhere near her.

He took this advantage and threw a binding spell at her before hiding behind the pillar. She couldn't have saw him so he waited to see what her next move would be.

Adelaide had just drawn in a breath and had the killing curse on the very tip of her tongue, but before she could say it, the muggle was pushed out of the way, towards safety and she let go of her breath. It didn't matter if she killed it or not, her target was hiding somewhere behind one of the concrete support beams. If she blasted enough of them apart, the rough would collapse. It didn't matter if he had time to produce the levitation charm or not, she'd get him when he was busy.

She had just turned around to try and find out where his hiding was, when she suddenly couldn't move and collapsed to the ground. Her legs and arms were frozen her side and her jaw was locked. How was it, that she could avoid being killed, but can't avoid such a stupid spell like a binding one?

When Andres didn't hear another spell, he cautiously stuck his head out from behind the pillar. Sighing gently, he saw her on the ground bounded. Wand still raised, he walked over to her and looked around. There were muggle onlookers and rolled his eyes. The minstry was going to kill him if he didn't do something about them. "Obliviate," he muttered and all the muggles got sort of a dazed look on their faces.

Reaching down, he picked up the woman and threw her over his shoulder. He didn't know where to take her but could only think of one place. Sighing again, he walked a few steps more before he apparated away and landed in a small muggle apartment.

It was very simple, very modest as if it hadn't been touched since the previous owner's open house. In fact it probably hadn't. Andres didn't spend much time in here. It was just to sleep in. The rest were simply for the muggles. He walked into the second bedroom that he had and dropped her onto the bed, not as gracefully as he should have though. Standing in the middle of the room, he muttered under his breath and started to cast wards around the room and then some to extend to the house. She couldn't escape without his content and no one could come into her bedroom. She was his prisoner for now. Looking back over to the girl, he magicked her wand to him and pocketed it. Sitting on a desk that was the few furniture in the room (other than the bed and the wardrobe), he removed her bonds and watched her, curious as to her reaction. He knew that she would rather be killed than to be there but he was curious to see if there was a different reaction.

(You're very descriptive, I like that. Please let me know if you have any idea's or don't like an idea/post of mine )

There was rarely a time when fear overtook Adelaide. Normally she let the intensity of her anger and frustration build up and run over any other emotion threatening to break free. So when she fell to the floor, bound by the strangers spell, it was such a great shock to her. She had never felt fear like this. What was he planning to do with her? Torture her for answers? Kill her? As much as she didn't mind being a martyr for the greater good, what use would she be to the new regime if she were dead?

Her eyes were the only thing she could move and she watched as he repaired the damage she had done in her failed quest for answers. She had only hoped that he would wipe her memory and set her free. But of course, he didn't. He had picked her up and brought her back to an apartment and took her wand. The thought of having to stay in a muggle apartment and the only magic around her was the wards to keep her in and secure, scared her even more. And the fact that it scared her, angered her. Why couldn't he just kill her? Why did he have to keep her here?

She sat up slowly and looked around. When she noticed him watching her she stood up and crossed the room towards him. She pulled back her hand to hit him, but thought better of it. She was psychically weak and without her wand she was powerless. Instead, she took to pacing around the room, looking for holes in his enchantments, but found none. "Why won't you kill me? What's the point of this?"

(It doesn't matter if I don't like an idea or not. It's just the ways things play out and it's the fun of a RP)

Andres watched her as she got up and looked around. There were so many emotions flickering on her face. Fear and anger stood out most. The girl reminded him of a lioness that was just captured, afraid but determined to get out but hopefully she would be quicker than a lioness and figure out that escape was impossible without his consent.

Watched her come to him, he stared at her as she moved to hit him. Even with all of her fury behind it, he doubted it would be the worst pain he had ever been though so he wasn't scared. He would be scared if she had her wand but he hoped she wouldn't find out the hard way that one of his wards caused the wand to shock her if she touched it. Sadistic for a wizard to put this ward on but it was an excellent thing for keeping prisoners.

He couldn't help but to sigh when she spoke to him. Shaking his head, he said, "Why do all of you think that? That you would rather be killed than to wait and live a full life?" He looked down her body then back to her face, shaking his head. "Real shame. You're still young, maybe my age, a year or two older perhaps. You should be working on getting a job, getting a husband and raising kids. Although that could be said to me couldn't it." He had a small smile on his face but shook the though and the smile off of his face. When he looked at her, his face was plain, just normal looking. He wasn't smiling but wasn't glaring at her either. Gestering to the bed, he asked polietly, "May I have your name? I really don't want to be calling 'hey you' when I want your attention."

The way he sat there and stared at Adelaide angered her. His expression was calm and when she had almost brought her hand across his face he hadn’t moved. Did that mean he thought of her as no threat? It was an insult to her and her ego.

“I would rather die for what I believe in that die a captive here.” She crossed her arms defiantly. “Once the new regime is instated and the resistance is wiped out, I’ll be able to do all of that. I’d like my kids to grow up without worry about muggles finding out about them.”

She straightened up drawing herself to her full height, which was still left her a head shorter than him. “Adelaide Winter.” She pursed her lips and then raised her eyebrows looking at him. “Just what do you plan to do with me? Torture me for information? Just so you know, I have no intentions of revealing anything.” She crossed her arms and turned away from him, walking across the room. While her actions revealed her to be a snotty death eater, without her wand she felt weak and powerless and wondered just how long she’d be able to keep up her façade.

(I’m so sorry! I’ve been sick and sleeping my days away. I’m still a bit sick and have a little bit of writers block.)

(it's okay. I know life happens. Yeah sorry I didn't give you too much to work with.)

Andres almost rolled his eyes when she said that she would rather "die for what she believed in." He understood but it was so cliched. Raising an eyebrow, he said, "You know, our lives would be easier if we got along with muggles. You know they have fantastic technology that would make our lives easier. And of course we have stuff that would make their lives easier as well."

Nodding at her name, he commented, "That's a very pretty name, a name certainly not suiting a death eater. I'm Andres Sinclaire." Shaking his head at her next question, he said, "I would be no better than you guys if I did that. No, you are someone who's a threat to us. We just like to keep you out of the way until we get done what we need to get done."

(No matter mate, I look forward to your posts.)

Adelaide didn't want to listen to him preaching about muggles to her. What did she care if wizards could help muggles out and vice versa? It was all pointless, wizards had tried to live in the open before and it didn't end well in the slightest. "What wonderful technology would be of use to us? Have you forgotten what happened to those American wizards in the 1600? They were hanged." She put her hands on her hips and smirked, thinking she had won the debate between them.

She didn't want to admit it, but the compliment flustered her for a moment. Compliments were scarce when you belonged to the death eaters and criticism comes often. However, she did her best to hide that she was the slightest bit pleased. "Andres Sinclaire." she tested out his name. "Just what exactly do you plan on doing?"

Andres looked at her and raised his eyebrows. "Well since you claim you have nothing to do with muggles, I'm sure you would not know much about muggle technology." His eyebrows seem to raise higher at her input. "You're bring up something that was almost 400 hundred years ago. People don't hang each other anymore. Granted people in general are scared of the new idea of getting along with each other but we're the same, just grew up differently."

There was something in her eyes that caught Andres' attention. He didn't know why she seemed to be caught off guard. When she said his name, there was a certain, flourish to it that caught his attention. He shrugged and said, "Keeping you here. What I plan on doing depends on you. Behave yourself and I'll let you roam around the house, giving you more freedom. Resist and I'll bind you to the bed, only letting you off every couple hours to relieve yourself and eat and I would really perfer not to do that as much as you wouldn't like being treated that way."
