Voldemort is dead. Hermione has been at her parents for months. After she took the memory charm off of them and exlained everything, they decided not to let her go back. It was too risky, and under her will, they take her wand, take away her owl for letters. She has no way to contact anyone, and everyone is getting worried. Mrs Weasely kept saying she would write, one more day, but that day never came. Tired of waiting, Ron goes to find her.
