Crunch, crunch....
The sound of snow and dead leaves beneath Elizabeth's feet as she ran through the woods. I have to catch him.
As she neared the man, Elizabeth's tiny 5' 2" frame came into view. Long dark hair a mess pulled back into a braid and hazel eyes narrowed in determination. She had never had to kill anyone to capture them for azkaban but she had already come close a few times tonight.
As quick as she was, this man was quicker. Liz wasn't sure if she would be able to catch him. She was determined not to kill any of the death eaters as she wanted to see them suffer for the pain they caused.
They had killed her whole family when she was four and she vowed that she would see them all in azkaban for it.

Damn the Auror. She had been chasing him for what seemed like forever and would not give up. What annoyed him the most was her being able to keep up with him. Stupid snow. It left his tracks, amking him much easier to follow. He was determined to outrun this woman. It would be ashame if he didn't. He was pretty fast and his long legs gave him an advantage. Just when he thought he was going to finally outrun her, he tripped over a tree branch. He cursed under his breath and quickly got to his feet, his wand at the ready.

Elizabeth cast magical bindings on him the moment he faced her. She wasted no time as she knew it could cost her her life. As he was now bound, however, Liz stopped to catch her breath. Being quite a bit shorter than him it took a lot out of her to catch up.
"Never try to outrun an auror." She growled, her eyes cold and hard as she looked him over. "You're coming with me to the ministry and I will personally be at your trial when they send you to Azkaban." Liz told him as she grabbed the bindings to pull him along. Her hazel eyes stayed focused in front of her til she heard a noise behind her and she turned quickly.
As she did, it seemed the noise was in the opposite direction and she turned again, just in time to feel her whole body tense in pain. Voldemort walked over with a grin and released his binding. "You do what you wish with this.... wretched auror til I think of proper torture for her." At this point Voldemort's eyes turned to Liz again. "That's right Miss Rosia... You're not getting off easy for all of my followers you placed in azkaban." He hissed and Elizabeth merely glared. "Do your worst..." She challenged coldly.

Garett fought against the bindings, even though he knew it was no use. Damn Auror. He rolled his eyes at her comment. He listened to her say she was going to take him to the minstry where he would be put to trial then sent to Azkaban. Yeah, yeah. He had heard that before. He wasn't one of Voldemort's best because he couldn't escape in despearate situations.
Garett was surprised to see Voldemort himself come and deal with the stupid Auror. He usually let his death eaters deal with the Aurors, especially ones who had no value to him. This one didn't seem like anything special. Garett rose to his feet and bowed his head to Voldemort. 'Yes, my Lord." he said and then turned to the girl. He smirked. "Oh I plan on it, sweetheart." he said and then lifted his wand. "CRUCIO!" he yelled.

Liz tensed and fell to the ground in pain, her body trembling. Her eyes closed as she held back from screaming. "Make it stronger." Voldemort hissed to Garrett and Liz opened her eyes just enough to glare at Voldemort. Once again, her eyes appeared cold and angry. Her eyes could be almost as cruel as Voldemort's himself.
"You will never break me..." Elizabeth growled. "You already took everything I had. As far as I'm concerned... You may as well have already killed me." Though her words were clear, Liz kept her teeth gritted tightly from the pain, her body slowly weakening.
"You should've learned by their mistakes not to cross me." Voldemort hissed back and glanced at Garrett again. "Keep with the crucio til she's dead then dispose of her." He then turned and within seconds had disappeared.

So, this Auror was somewhat important to Voldemort. He learned that much just by listening to the two talk. She had crossed him, so as far as he was concerned she deserved this. He didn't care about the details. If his Lord wanted her dead, then by all means she would die. He watched as Voldemort disappeared. He let go of the curse just for a few seconds. "Well, that was fun." he said with an evil grin. "Let's have some more fun." he said. "Crucio!"

Liz glared at Garrett and winced as he started the cruciatus again, stronger this time. She curled into a fetal position on the ground but refused to give him any satisfaction of hearing her scream or beg for mercy. Liz had trained herself for such pain and torture most of her life and she doubted this man could kill her, no matter how powerful he was.
After what seemed like hours to Liz her consciousness faded, though remarkably she was still alive and had not been driven to insanity. Her heart pounded fast and hard from the pain but her hazel eyes remained blank and open as if she were dead.

Garett was growing bored and very frustrated. This woman wouldn't scream or anything. He could tell she was in pain, but she showed no signs. Not even he could keep quiet for this long. After what seemed like forever, the girl finally gave up. He broke the curse and then took a few minutes to regain his strength. He then walked over to the girl's body and picked her up, throwing her over his shoulder, and began to walk.

When Liz woke again, she rolled her eyes to find herself being carried over his shoulder. "You brute! Put me down!" She demanded and drew one leg back far enough to knee his chest hard. She was determined to escape him and she would make certain to see him in Azkaban this time.
Liz still couldn't believe what happened last time she caught Garrett. She hadn't been face to face with Voldemort since she was six and to face him now he disgusted her even more. She could almost feel the odd marking on her right wrist burn at the thought of the two years she spent as his adopted 'daughter', more like a pet in her opinion.

Garett was taking a nice stroll through the woods. He was quiet pleased with himself. He would definitely be in Voldemort's good graces now. Just as he was thinking about all of this, the girl woke up and kneed him right in the chest. What the hell! He could have sworn she was dead. Her eyes were open and lifeless.
Garett dropped the girl on the ground, clutching his chest. Holy hell. This girl just didn't give up, did she? He quickly regained his composure and was up on his feet, his wand ready. "Oh you are going to pay for that." he said "Stupefy!" he yelled as he pointed his wand directly at her chest.

Liz barely managed to dodge the spell and grinned, though it was a cold, cruel grin. "No... You're the one who is going to pay." She growled and prepared herself, knowing this would be even more difficult without her wand.
"I'm not your average auror." Elizabeth hissed, her hazel eyes locking on his eyes with intense hatred. "You will regret you ever crossed my path, death eater.

Garett was shocked at how much hate was in this woman's eyes. Yeah, all Aurors hated death eaters, but this woman had enough hatred in her eyes that she could pass for a death eater. She could pass for Voldemort himself. He kept his wand pointed at her. "Oh, will I?" he asked with a smirk. "And how will you do that without a wand?" he asked, firing off another stunning spell her way.

Liz, again, managed to dodge the spell. "Like I said, I'm not your average auror..." She replied and ran toward him, sliding between his legs which had been stanced. Being as small as she was, this was easy. Once behind him, Elizabeth kicked his back. She wasn't the strongest but she could at least hope it was enough to knock him down since she had caught him off guard.
Liz glared at him as she now slid a knife out from her boot. "I don't intend to kill you. I'd rather see you suffer with the dementors. But I can debilitate you."

Garett was somewhat surprised at her movements, but it wasn't enough to catch him off guard. He quickly recovered and spun around to see the girl standing there holding a knife. He rolled his eyes. "Knife against a wand." he said. "I wonder which will win?" he asked with a smirk.

Liz grinned wider. "I've learned to always keep a spare wand in an unbreakable form." She explained. "And it also works as a muggle weapon so I can make more use of it. STUPEFY!" She shouted and moved quickly but predictably so as to avoid if he threw another spell her way.

This girl never ceased to amaze him. He had never heeard of using a muggle item as a wan before. He didn't even know that was possible. He dove to the ground to doge her spell and threw another one her way. He quickly got to his feet and faced her. "We can do this all day if you want. I'm not giving up." he told her.

"Never said you had to give up.... Just merely told you that you'd pay." Elizabeth shot another stunning spell at him then jumped up into a tree, hoping to maneuver her way around behind him. As she was going through the trees, however, Liz felt one of his spells hit her and she fell to the ground.

Garett looked up as she jumped into the trees. This would be either very good, or very bad for him. He started firing spells up into the trees, hoping one of them would hit it's target. He was in luck. One did. He walked over to where her body fell, his wand still pointed at her. He smirked. "I win." he said.

"You only think you have." She growled and glared at him. "All you've done is make me angrier. I will win. This is not over yet." Elizabeth continued stubbornly and watched him as she still lay in the snow. She couldn't help wondering what he was going to do next.
The wise choice, of course, would be to kill her but she assumed he would decide to have fun with her first.

Garett rolled his eyes. "You can say that when I'm the one down on the ground and you have your wand pointed at me." he said. He wondered what he should do with the girl. He should probably just kill her, but what was the fun in that? She seemed to be valuable to Voldemort, so she must be valueable to the Ministry. He smirked. What would the Ministry do to get their Auror back safe and sound? He bound her wrists and ankles and then tucked his wand into his front pocket. He disarmed the muggle wand from her and then lifted her up and threw her over his shoulder.

Elizabeth growled and elbowed his back angrily as he carried her off. "Where the hell are you taking me?" She asked as she wriggled about, trying to get away. She couldn't stand to be handled this way. Never had she lost a battle and now she was being handled this way? Elizabeth rolled her eyes and started devising a plan to get away.
She had to be on constant guard if she was going to pull it off, however.

Garett rolled his eyes and continued walking with her over his shoulder. He ignored her questions and ignored her pounding on his back. It was quiet annoying, but he could deal with it. As he walked he wondered if he should let Voldemort know the girl was still alive. Probably not a good idea. His orders were to kill the girl, and she was still alive. Voldemort wouldn't be too pleased with that.

After a while, Elizabeth stopped pounding and got rather quiet, a little too quiet. She let her body lay limp, figuring she could somehow trick him into thinking she had worn herself down to sleep. She had to play all of it out perfectly to succeed in tricking him. What she didn't expect was what it would do to herself.

Garett felt the girl's body go limp. At first, he thought she had worn herself out, but when he thought about it he knew that wasn't the case. She had been full of all kinds of surprises today and he would bet anything this was one of them. He let out a sigh. "You are going to have to try harder than that, sweetheart." he said as he continued to walk.

Elizabeth held back a grin, letting herself remain that way the rest of the time he carried her. She could only hope that if she kept it up he would fall for it. As she lay there however, she did eventually start to drift off. She began to dream her usual memory of her parents death and her capture by Voldemort. It always seemed so vivid though it was a mere memory.

The boy shook his head lightly. Stupid girl. He wasn't going to fall for it. Not for another second. Garett continued to walk and eventually ended up at a little cottage on a hillside. He walked inside and walked into an empty room with a single bed in the middle. He laid the girl down and then put a few enchantments up around the room. The room would always be locked from the inside and only he could open the door. The windows would shock you if you even tried to open them. He had no worries that this girl wouldn't escape.

Elizabeth laid on the bed once he set her down and not long after Garrett left the room she started to toss around. A whimper escaped her as she remembered being helpless to save her parents, Voldemort himself holding her back when she was four. "No!" She screamed out in her sleep. "Let them go!" and then a scream of terror.
Elizabeth's dreams seemed to always have such an effect on her, thus why she never slept much. She could feel the mark on her own wrist burning and she winced. "I'll never help you! Never!"

Garett was just about to settle down and relax a little, but he heard screaming coming from the room he had left the girl. He got up quickly and went to the room. He said a spell to open the door and saw the girl thrashing around on the bed. He ran over to her and shook her. "Hey." he said. "Hey! Wake up!" he yelled.

Elizabeth gasped and almost decked him as she woke but stopped. She was still breathing heavily and her heart was pounding, her hair soaked with sweat. "G-Get away from me..." She grumbled, her voice only slightly less icy than it had been. She couldn't believe she let him see her that way.
She sighed and glanced away from him. Elizabeth was both embarrassed and curious as to what he may have heard as she sat there, hoping he hadn't heard too much.

"Whoa there." he said when she woke up and almost hit him. He looked down at her and wondered what in the hell had her so frightened. She was breathing heavily and her hair was soaked with sweat and it looked as if she was about to have a heart attack. Garett backed away when she said to get away from her. He ran a hand through his hair. What now? "I will leave you alone." he said. "If your hungry knock on the door and I will bring you something." he said and then left, closing the door behind him.
