-Chrissy stands in her empty, gorgeous mansion-
-taps her foot while watching the workers set up for her party-
-oh, not empty then? No, you're mistaken.. workers don't count as people. They're meant to be shadows nothing more-
Hurry UP!
-claps-
Honestly, my family doesn't pay you to walk about barely doing anything! I want this dump to be spotless. Especially the chandelier. Ew. And where do you think you're going with that ice sculpture?
-stomps off-
Am I the ONLY one with a brain?
-whines-
-snaps-
Get it over there. Now.
-hmmphs-
I have to get dressed. Don't do anything else stupid.
-flips hair-
-yells back-
I expect guests soon, so disappear before they arrive!
-turns head back-
-smiles-
Thank you.
-goes back up the stairs-

Mason stepped out of her car and straightened her dress. She looked up at the house. "Good lord Mason, what are you getting into." She mumbled to herself. Great and now she was talking to herself. She sighed, mentally composed herself and started up to the door. Taking another bracing breath she rang the doorbell while taking in the actual size of the house. I might be out of my league here she thought to herself as she waited.

-steps into closet, looking at all her wonderful dresses-
-sigh-
Same old same old.. I guess you'll do.
-pulls out a slick white one before hearing the door bell-
GET THE DOOR!
-rolls eyes-
-instantly slips on the new dress and excitedly skips down the steps-
-fluffs up her hair as one of the butlers opens the door-
Mason!
-gives delicate hug so as not to ruin her dress-
Wonderful dress.. How on earth did you get it?
-twitch smile-
Hm. Well, come in. How are you? You've never been inside, have you?

Mason smiled as the door flew open and she saw Chrissy. "Hi Chrissy!" She said as they hugged. "I got it from Madam Friendlee, she can work miracles on even the frumpiest of girls." She said as she smiled and looked around, "No I've never been inside. It's super huge!" She smiled thinking she could probably put tweleve of her little house in here. "I can't wait to see it!" She said excitedly. "Am I the firsst person here?"

((-kowtows- So sorry for being away. Sorry sorry. I was pulled away. And I'm going to switch to regular style; ICL is harder for me. xD))

Chrissy's glance her over, a fake yet distant smile on her face. "I see," she commented shortly, before letting her eyes snap back to hers, her smile widening, letting a single laugh fall out. She turned her head back to look at the rest of the house as if she was just noticing the enormity of it all. "Oh? Sometimes it feels small, but thank you." Her light skin of her hand ran through her platinum blond curls, making them bounce to the back. "I'll show you the bedrooms, and then maybe the kitchen? You'll probably feel more at home there. You smell like pastry," she noticed, laughing once more before leading the way. Her head raised at the question, almost geared towards a nod without giving much effort for the effect. "You are the first, yes," she almost hummed. "Unless you count the dogs that decorate."

((Haha its ok I took the opportunity to grab a shower))

Mason blushed at the pastry smell comment, but she supposed there was no way to help it. When you spend your life in a bakery its a hazard of the job. "I'd love to see the kitchen." She said with a smile, "different kitchen layouts facinate me." She wasn't sure what to make of her comments about the workers, she looked at them with sad eyes and followed Chrissy towards the stairs. She also wondered where everyone was. Looking around at all the decorations she was stunned. "Oh my Chrissy this is so lavish!" She gasped.

((Yay! Time has not been wasted! xD))

Her head tilted back to look at her, her eyes squinted slightly before they eased back again. "Then you should love the one here, I guess. I don't exactly know how it works. I don't spend much time there," she said breezily, moving her head to look straight on once more. Her hand went through her hair another time as they walked. She made it look easy as she carefully went down the circular staircase with her white, five-inch heels strapped to her feet. She grinned at the compliment from behind her. "I'm so glad you like them! I thought of the plans myself, obviously." She laughed with that smiling face before the reached the bottom and walked on the tile floor.

The hall opened up to another massive room with stainless steel appliances and dining area. Even though they were a bottom down from the first, windows still lined the half-circular wall, showing the grounds drenched in night. "What do you think of this, hmm?" she asked, leaning against the onyx countertop.

Mason took the stairs carefully, heels weren't an everyday wear for her and therefore not her forte, but she managed to get down the stairs safely. She gasped as they entered the kitchen "Oh my gracious! Chrissy this is beautiful!" She said running a reveering had over the counter tops. "I could only dream of cooking in a place like this." She turned a slow circle. In comparison her kitchen was the size of a closet. Mason had never been prone to spurts of jealousy, but right now she was feeling a littlbit jealous right now. "I'm rather jealous right about now." She said with a smile.

Chrissy's right eyebrow raised as she tapped the side of her cheek once with a long, thin finger, as she watched Mason's reaction. "Honestly?" she asked in disbelief. Gradually, her hand moved away from her face as she crossed her arms. Such an odd girl she was to be jealous over a kitchen. Her house, looks, wealth, yes. Those were all natural things to be jealous of, but this? Her blue eyes looked around, trying to find the things she wasn't seeing that obviously Mason could only focus on, but of course the mission was fruitless. "Hm. Well, feel free to come back some time and cook. We might like that. What exactly.. do you cook?" she asked.

Mason chuckled at the look on Chrissy's face. "I know it may seem odd to be in love with someones kitchen, but when your life revolves around kitchens, you covet ones better then the one have." She said with a chuckle. "And yours," she gestured to the expansive kitchen, "is entirely covetable!" She grinned. "I'm a pastry chef." She said with a shy smile. "Hense the reason I smell like pastries." She smiled, "You're not used to simpler people like me are you?" She asked Chrissy knowing she wasn't.

The blonde turned to look at Mason, easily being able to draw her eyes away from her family's kitchen. She laughed lightly before leaning up against one of the bar seats by the elevated counter island, her elbow instantly on it as she rested her cheek against her half-closed hand. "Yes, well, we do try to make everything we have very covetable. Otherwise what is the point of having things at all?" Another airy laugh followed before she chewed delicately on the tip of her tongue. "Ah," she commented at her profession, "it's odd to see one like you without your hats. I secretly fancy those for some reason." Her head tilted, letting her curls flow down along the side of her face with a sly smile and narrower eyes at her question. "Simpler? Does that make us complicated people?" she asked, before baring her teeth in a tantalizing grin. "No...not really. You like working, I prefer...not to."

Mason laughed. "Your not a complicated person Chrissy, but you're demanding and you like things a certain way, your way unless I'm mistaken." Mason said with a smile. "Maybe simple was the wrong turn of phrase, I just prefer a lower key lifestyle then the one you have. And you're right I do enjoy working. Gives me a purpose, makes me feel like I'm contibuting in some way. To be honest I don't know what I would do all day if I didn't work... what do you do all day?" Mason asked curiously.

Chrissy pushed herself away from her leaning posture, and instead settled for her arms crossed against her chest and most of her weight resting on her left leg. Her shimmering lips were in soft pucker as her eyes squinted temporarily at the young woman. "Well," she started plainly, "I see nothing wrong with that philosophy. I deserve to be demanding, don't you think so, Mason dear?" she cooed at the end, before tilting her chin as she continued with her explanation of her chosen lifestyle of the dull life of working. Patiently, she waited for her to finish with little more than half-closed eyes. "Yes, that's fascinating," she told her breezily, but she took in a short, exhausting breath at her question. "What do I do?" she repeated quietly, rolling the question around in her mouth as her eyes landed distantly towards the direction of the far corner but without a real focus. "I contribute to the world in my own little ways, too," she began her reply, "I'm the one that gives a high standard to my family, which is a really tiring job at times. Planning parties and whatnot. Then there's my education that I have to worry about. You would not believe the fact that they're threatening to send me to an all girls school. How boring will that be?" She sighed. "Then part-time I model when I have nothing better to do, and that I think is the best contribution I make. Girls deserve to look up to someone that's much more of a feminist power. One that does demand, as you say, everything." She smiled charmingly. "And for the boys, they do deserve someone they can actually think of at night."

((xD I never said she was the nicest host..))

Mason chuckled. "That sounds exhausting. I don't know how you keep up with all that business." She said looking around. "You see it's just me at my place. I go to work, I come home. No high life." She laughed. "Getting an invite to your party is my social event of the year. If I had to be the family standard, plan partiesmodel and all that other business, i think that's more then I could handle." She sighed. "Although it may be more then I can handle, it sure is fun to envy it." She said looking around the kitchen again.

((Nope you didn't -laughs- but it's ok I think Mason and I can manage ))
