Sadly today is the last day I'll be actively posting on here. A few months ago I said to myself that I'd quit this forum once I reached 9,000 posts and I've reached that post count as of this evening, so I'm being true to my word.

I know this forum is slowly fading away but I've enjoyed my time here and on the old forum, made friends and had a good laugh whenever I could.

I can remember the first day I was on the last Forum Junkies, I literally dived into the shoutbox as I couldn't post and from there I made an impact. NacMacFegle, FoxieHaHa and Ayeaii welcomed me with my craziness and from there I won the upcoming "Newcomer" award from Stella.

Sadly people have moved on and 3.5 years on being with you guys have been really great. Notching up over 12,000 posts in total and generally enjoying myself but now is the last 24 hours of which I will be on here.

But not to worry, the last BUMP will be calculated and posted as for this one, I can see this as being the last one. Sadly I never got called TGL on here, but that's my fault due to my name of choice but the show went on.

And with this final paragraph I must sigh as my time here is down to the last 23.5 hours. It's been fun and Forum Junkies will always have a place in my heart when it comes to forums as before 2007 not many forums survived more than a few weeks before I left.....but for now....BUMP!

You will be missed, it has been fun having a youngster amongst us, not many find this forum to their taste, too many 'old fogies' Forums in general have had their glory days for now. Especially ones like fjs, people much prefer the facebook format.

Forum Junkies was my introduction to the dear old internet, it was the first friendly forum I came across and I have stuck with it ever since. I have made a few friends here who I now keep up with on facebook.

Hope you call in when you are passing, in the meantime I will keep my eye on you on fb,

I like both mizzy but in general fb seems to be the majority taste. Specialist forums like Whippets are still popular but not so much general ones like fjs.
