I have just instituted a change to the Registration requirements for board membership. I will now have to approve any new member prior to them having the ability to post. This has been caused by a rash of recent postings by spammers (6 in the past 4 days), posing as people asking questions about places other than the Bahamas. Guests will still have the ability to read all posts, but cannot join without abiding by this new procedure.
If you have friends, acquaintances or know of anyone wanting to register please tell them to have some patience. I usually check the board several times a day, even when out of town, and will promptly authorize legitimate people to post. The only thing that could delay anyone from joining would the the lack of a valid email address. That will be a requirement in order for me to authorize access.
I'm sorry to have to do this but I cannot allow these spammer idiots the access to continually tie my time up with post and membership deletions. I hope everyone understands.
