Left dreary old Ohio behind,flew to West Palm and went over on the Celebration Cruise got flights to line up with the ship both ways (260.00) each plus 200.00 r/t trip air = 920.00 total verses 840.00 each to fly. the boat is great got on at 1:30 pm nice buffet,then dinner at 7:00 plus breakfast the next morning. you leave West Palm at 5:30 or so and arrive at GB at 7:00 AM and you can sleep in and get off when you want. the boat is great,Casino ,entertainment nice ride. we got he cheapest cabin because we were just using it for transportation (it was small). there were more tourist on the island than I thought there would be, the diving was good water temp was up to 78 vis was 80 feet or so. we went to Pier one and in was a perfect night they had a respectiable amout of people there, the Sharks showed up when they fed them, and the atmosphere with the ships lined up on the horizon with the sunset was outstanding they have changed the menu around some our food was perfect. not cheap but perfect.
Sat they had a easter egg hunt and kids games,pony rides at the Garden of the Groves we went with some of our friends with children. got out to the west end (they are just putting the finishing touches on the Ginn Project.......ha) looks like the golf course is in looks great,and the canal,paved roads street lights,and looks as if they are building a couple houses.i belive the project has been scaled back quite a bit. anyways the weather was good,had a good time seems they are getting more cruise ships i hope that will help the island out.

Nice to hear the sharks are coming back to the Pier. It will be one of my stops next time I go back to the Bahamas. ( wish I was there now ) Thanks for the updates
