The process of amending the constitution is a long and cumbersome process. It was intentionally made that way. The process also requires any changes to be kept in the document so people can see where we have been and where we have moved to ( i.e. women voting or prohibition)
The process of twisting it, we agree - but it is the greatest governing document in the world, and I'm not about to throw it out with the crooks that have shamed it.

An Open Apology to Amy Koch on Behalf of All Gay and Lesbian Minnesotans
Dear Ms. Koch,
On behalf of all gays and lesbians living in Minnesota, I would like to wholeheartedly apologize for our community's successful efforts to threaten your traditional marriage. We are ashamed of ourselves for causing you to have what the media refers to as an "illicit affair" with your staffer, and we also extend our deepest apologies to him and to his wife. These recent events have made it quite clear that our gay and lesbian tactics have gone too far, affecting even the most respectful of our society.
We apologize that our selfish requests to marry those we love has cheapened and degraded traditional marriage so much that we caused you to stray from your own holy union for something more cheap and tawdry. And we are doubly remorseful in knowing that many will see this as a form of sexual harassment of a subordinate.
It is now clear to us that if we were not so self-focused and myopic, we would have been able to see that the time you wasted diligently writing legislation that would forever seal the definition of marriage as being between one man and one woman, could have been more usefully spent reshaping the legal definition of "adultery."
Forgive us. As you know, we are not church-going people, so we are unable to fully appreciate that "gay marriage" is incompatible with Christian values, despite the fact that those values carry a biblical tradition of adultery such as yours. We applaud you for keeping that tradition going.
And finally, shame on us for thinking that marriage is a private affair, and that our marriage would have little impact on anyone's family. We now see that marriage is more than that. It is an agreement with society. We should listen to the Minnesota Family Council when it tells us that marriage is about being public, which explains why marriages are public ceremonies. Never did we realize that it is exactly because of this societal agreement that the entire world is looking at you in shame and disappointment instead of minding its own business.
From the bottom of our hearts, we ask that you please accept our apology.
Thank you.

Comedian Bill Maher drew the ire of Tim Tebow fans and Christians over the weekend after a profane tweet reveling in the Broncos' blowout loss to the Buffalo Bills.
"Wow, Jesus just f***ed #TimTebow bad! And on Xmas Eve! Somewhere ... Satan is tebowing, saying to Hitler "Hey, Buffalo's killing them," Maher tweeted.
Tebow realy has gotten under the skin of Govs and his kind. Why does it bother them so much that a guy openly prays? I cant figure it out.
Why are Maher , Govs and their Godless ilk so threatened by open prayer that they have to give it the name of the person doing it.
So, when I was at midnight Mass on Christams Eve ,while pistol was in bed, was I "packerboying". Why cant these dickhead liberals even say the word"'praying".
I imagine that, because they are so intellectshall, praying to God is beneath Govs, Maher and their kind.

WTF does marital infidelity have to do with gay marriage laws? So, is it this mushbrain's opinion that anybody who has been unfaithful to their spouse must therefore support gay marriage? WTF is the connection?
And Govs eats it up like candy. Looney. Flippin looney.

Once again, PB, with his head in the sand, fails to actually recognize the situation.
Very few people give a rip about Tim Tebow praying. What he does is his business... Unfortunately, what he's chosen to do is to force his beliefs on others everytime he gets a mic shoves in his stupid face, and chosen to put himself and his ****ty football team above real world problems. God does not kick field goals, but Tebow would have you believe that He does. It's a pretty shallow view of God, and somehow it's acceptable for all of those who refuse to use their own minds.
Once again, I've never had a problem with people praying or doing whatever you want to do with your religion, as long as it's not forced on me. Of course with Catholic priests, that takes on a whole other meaning, but Tebow's not Catholic, so at least he's got that going for him... What's up with that?

Trying to understand here how giving thanks to the Lord is forcing anything on you. He's not preaching to you and asking you to do anything. He is merely answering the questions asked of him in a manner a Christian Gentleman might.
No where near as bad as that Alphabet Pride Parade
Tebow has never indicated that God has any determination in the games outcome. If anything I have heard more about him giving credit to his teammates and their closeness in adversity
Also, Tebow also understands and has indicated football is merely a game he has been blessed to be able to play and there are far more important things in the world. His everyday actions and charitable acts have shown this so far Clueless in Carver County

Every single time you stick a mic in the guy's face, it inevitably turns word some mention of his beliefs. That's forcing it on everybody. If a reporter asks him about a touchdown run, he's not asking him what role Jesus had in him crossing the goal line... Yet Tebow forces it on the reporter (and the rest of us) anyway.
If TA's favorite actress, Meryl Streep, goes on stage to accept an Oscar and opens her acceptance speech with "I'd like to thank Colt .45 Malt Liquor for making all this possible", people would be in an uproar for her selling out. That's in essence what Tebow is doing every time he gets an audience.
Tebow's obviously not the only one who does this, so it probably isn't really fair for him to be singled out the way he is, but once he opened himself up to it with his Super Bowl ad from a pro-life group from a couple of years ago, it was game on. He put the target on himself.
What's up with that?

I think the young man is sincere in his beliefs. I don't see the "selling out" connection.
Every reporter knows what he's going to get when he "sticks a mike in Tebow's face". If they don't want to hear it, they're holding the remedy. Believe in Yourself

Posted December 28th, 2011 01:56 PM IP Intellectshall liberals are threatened by guys like Tebow. When Tebow prays, the mushbrains are reminded that 2.1 billion Christians exist out there and they do not like the thought of that.
Govs, Bil Maher and their ilk would rather just be safe in their own little foggy world than be reminded of how out of touch they really are. They would rather oppress those that openly express their religious beliefs than face the fact that it is they who are not in sync with the 90% of us who believe in God.
It is amusing how threatened they are by it all. I wonder why?

It's amusing that you think we'd be threatened by somebody who does not have the ability to think for himself... Especially a Bronco.

As we have seen in the past, the oh so intellectshalll liberals seem to think that 90% of us who believe in God are not capabe of free thinking. Only the loons are.
These musbrains think this, even though one of the pillars of Christianity and other religions is the concept of free will.
The intolerance that liberals have for those who believe in God and openly express that belief reveals quite a bit about the loonys makeup.

If you recall , this topic arose with the Bill Maher qoute which, although assinine, was IMO very revealing of his makeup. Shallow, arogant, intolerant and psuedo. A light weight who is easily threatened by 'tebowing'. Kind of like a vampire.
I used to think Maher was a shock jock but now i think he is a for real looney tuner.
