He looked like Archie Manning in the pocket, just trying not to get killed. Get him blocking and a couple of wide-outs and he should be fine. Talk of a bust is certainly premature.

Ponder will never make it as a starter, he can make a decent living as a third string emergency QB."Hoochie Mamma"

Posted January 9th, 2012 05:30 PM IPMaybe Ponder is a bust and maybe he isn't. QB's need 3-4 years (usually) to really judge them at the NFL level.
All QB's need a line and a running game and a reciever or two that can be counted on. Ponder didn't have any of those consistently. 2011 MHF Cup Winner

Posted January 11th, 2012 09:42 PM IPThis is the 10th consecutive season that a 2 seed in the NFL playoffs is a team that was not in the playoffs the previous season. It seems improbable but the 49ers kept the streak alive this year.
The question is how did these ten teams do it and can the Vikes be the 11th?
I hope the Vikings know about this and are already looking for patterns.

Stick with the Powerball Shanty.
175 million to 1 is better odds than the puke continuing that streak of making the playoffs."Hoochie Mamma"

It's intriguing... Although way too late in the game. It would be a cool entertainment district that close to Canterbury (although I would not likely go to either the stadium or the track).
It seems to have the most logical funding plan, that's for sure. What's up with that?

I'm just hoping it could revitalize downtown Chaska where we could bilk the puke fans somehowClueless in Carver County

The only pattern they have followed is a pattern of Puke.
SF did not make the playoffs last year but were viewed as a team with a lot of young talent. They added a decent coach and there yah go.
The Puke has very little, if any, young talent. They have a coach who is inept, at best.
The only young talent they have is the TE they drafted but they used him so little I cant remeber his name.
The Puke is old, bad and poorly coached with a QB who was picked #12 over all who is a bust.

Maybe they won't make it, but they'll sure as hell be closer to making it than the Twins...

Posted January 12th, 2012 03:02 PM IPThese are bad times
Vikings bad
Twins bad
Twolves, been real bad
Tubby, can't win in the big 10, can't field an upper Tier team
Wild, when were they in the playoffs last?
Glenn Mason's old team, the place where coaching careers end

Posted January 16th, 2012 02:13 PM IPWatched a lot of football this weekend. Great teams and action.
The Packers looked like The Puke on Sunday.
Driving in this AM all of the local radio doorknobs were just so happy that GB lost. Pathetec. GB has won 4 Super Bowls and The Puke only know embarrasment and humiliation.
But the Puke Zombies are cheering today because they do not have ot watch another championship happen for GB.
Too bad the zombies cant just say:" hey we won it a few times, now its there turn."
This has got to end. It isnt healthy. Tell Zigi to go to LA and tell the NFL we will build a stadium for an expansion team.
End PPH.
