Has anyone heard about the wild getting a 3rd jersey many NHL teams already have them including St. Louis, Atlanta, Dallas, San Jose, Boston, LA, Carolina, Phoenix, and Pittsburgh. I personally hope the wild come out with a jersey with an Otter on the front

Yes they are getting a third jersey and I think it has a otter on fire on it!

they are getting a third. From what leipold said last summer, it would be green. Im hoping for something like the all star jerseys when the game was here. those were sharp

This story on the Wild's website is kind of a fun little "what if"...
It gives a little bit of the back story of how the Wild name came to be, but more interesting is that they actually posted designs of what the uniforms could have looked like if they went with one of the other suggested team names like "White Bears", "Northern Lights", or "Freeze".
Cool stuff...
What's up with that?

Northern Lights with the jersey color changing as it heats is interesting.
