Posted January 31st, 2011 09:44 AM IP Fun game to watch and the skills competition was good too - unreal to see how well the goalies played in the shootouts. It was great to see what these guys can do with the puck when they don't have to worry about getting pounded by a defender - Pat Kane has unbelievable hands. Anybody see Ovie's tricks in the breakaway competition - I see why the youth love the guy - I guess you call his skill "sick"?

Posted January 31st, 2011 09:49 AM IP I thought Corey Perry waving the puck around over his head with the stick during the breakaway challenge was fun to watch. I think he unleashed a lacrosse shot that was about 150 MPH. What's up with that?

Posted January 31st, 2011 11:24 AM IP Hockey Night in Canada's coverage of the festivities, as always, was excellent. They had a players poll asking a number of questions with some revealing answers. #1 response (44%) of toughest player to play against was Syd "the Kid" Crosby. Worst ice in the league is Florida while the best is Edmonton. Many more - I'll see if I can find a results page.

Posted January 5th, 2012 02:31 PM IP None of the top 10 point scorers were voted into this year's game by the fans.
Nice going, jerkwads. What's up with that?
