Excellent game in Moorhead tonight.
The Lumberjacks outshot the Spuds 38-27 or so. They may have controlled a bit more play, but it was a very even game. Miller was awesome in goal for Moorhead and Sele played well herself for Bemidji. Stenerson logged a lot of minutes for the Silky Orange. She played defense and probably played over 45 of the 59 minutes. Christofferson made a difference in the third and OT and scored on a beautiful shot. Great game to take in on a Tuesday night.

If so, Bemidji will have a good shot at getting to the X.
Of course, they will have two tough games to get to the finals, but they seem to be able to win even if they are not playing great offensively.

I'm out of the loop when it comes to girl's high school hockey. Does my Little Falls/Brainerd Flying Warriors have any chance of winning this section?

They are in the tournament so they have a chance. It is very tiny chance however. I think they will be seeded 7-9 somewhere.

I will be at the game without a lap top. Maybe if Elliot doesn't make the trip to Alex or to watch the boys in DL he can listen to the radio and post them. I think they will be updating both games tonight. Don't know which one will be broadcast.

I am certainly considering. I put in my app for Fargo North, but they hired the guy from St. Cloud. Some rumblings that Dave Christian will be the guy, but personally I have heard he doesn't seem interested.

Correct. Dave worked with the U14 two seasons ago. He is actually a tremendous coach and I know that the girls have been saying that they would love to have him come on board next season. This opening is very interesting. It is really hard to label a favorite for the job, but one would imagine that id Dave wants it, it would be his.

hey boblee, how come those coaches for the Lightning do not schedule games with moorhead, warroad and roseau? Why not play some of the better programs in the north?
