First of all, allow me to teach you a bit of history that I to learn the hard way. Research.
Transylvania is currently part of Romania, but it's going to be part of England while we roleplay there to follow Dracula history. He kinda went back and forth between London and Transylvania, so this'll make it easier for Drac is she decides to do that in our little. ^^
Speaking of Drac, Rayu is going to be roleplaying him. She has minions that listen to her every command, but not all of the vampires have to, so calm down. 
We also have werewolves. As everybody knows, weres and vamps don't really get along all that well, so they aren't going to here either.
Remember, this is happening in the mid 1400's. No electronics. Please don't make some super weapon. -eyeroll-
You can be a little villager or a vampire/werewolf hunter is you want. Just let me know in your post what you're going to be, I'll keep track up here.
I read this to catch up on my Transylvanian and Dracula history, so you can too if you're bored enough. [link]
We're going with the stereotypical Transylvania here. "...a land of misty mountains, superstitious, rural peasants, growling bears and howling wolves.”

Oh, and you can be more than one character. And I thus copy the roleplay rules from Ray's thread:
1) No god-modeling, power-playing, all of those big fatty roleplay sins.
2) Capitalize your sentences. Use correct spelling. Type real sentences complete with good grammar and coherent syntax. If you do not, I will eat your soul. I am so sick of this stuff, guys. If you cannot spell to save your life, get Firefox. It does it for you. Honestly.
3) Common sense is an epic attribute which will help you in instances not mentioned, such as having the opportunity to throw the entire storyline off its tracks with a single post. Just play nice.
EDIT:
Oh, and I forgot to say....
No Twilight vampires! The books were good, I must agree. But no. You may not have Twilight vampires here, okay? No glittering! That was just weird. 
But you can have been another creature before you became a vampire, like in Zyhe's old vamp roleplay, if any of you have been on long enough to remember her and her awesomeness....
So yes, if you were another creature before you were bitten you don't turn into a bat, you turn into that creature. Normal humans get bats, it's just that simple.
So... Yeah, enjoy. Lotsa rules, but I was planning to make this even before the Lair went down, so don't fudge it up.

Ray did research on Draccy, so she knows what she's doing. I helped! So yes, if we say something that sounds wrong, it's not.

A wolf ran through the cold Transylvanian forest, seeming to fly over the snow. Any who witnessed its passing crossed themselves and said nothing. Breaking free of the cover of dead wood, the great beast suddenly leapt upward, changing in midair to a fanged nightmare, a bat of such size that no civilized man would believe rumour of it . The sun had little power in this place, and it was just beginning to shine weakly as the monster returned to his spire.

A rather large bat fluttered through the night sky, just above the trees of Transylvania's forest. Black leathery wings propelled her toward the bleak, ominous looking village.
She glanced over her shoulder as the ominous castle came into view, sitting on top of the lone hill, a bank of fog surrounding it. The bat scanned behind her with cool purple eyes until she spotted one other in the sky, not far away. She grinned to herself, whirling around and coming toward him with a screech.
"Do you think that we'll find any of them soon? Or be able to tell?" She asked quietly, her purple eyes anxious.
The purple eyes glanced up at the sky and she sighed. "We might have to wait until tonight. The sun is already starting to rise, we've were flying all night to get here!"

Alaiza was bringing clean linens to the top of the castle when she heard a slight thump, signifying that her master had returned for the evening. "Good evening, master," she called. "I trust your time out went well."

Alaiza bowed her head. "Thank you, Master." She placed the linens in a cabinet and bowed her way out the door and down some of the many steps in the castle to her favorite window, where she stood on the ledge and changed. She felt the wind catch beneath her wings, as she soared over the misty forest to find an unsuspecting traveller with the most pleasing kind of wine coursing through his veins.

Alaiza felt the human go rigid in her hands just as she sensed another presence. She dropped the dead human to the ground and looked up to see purple eyes amongst the trees. "Who is there?" she asked cooly.

"My name is Alaiza," she said. No emotion was present on the vampire's face. Alaiza saw the sky beginning to light up out of the corner of her eye. "It's been a pleasure," she said, "but I must go. Farewell." Alaiza began walking into the forest. She wasn't going to change right in front of someone else.

Kachena turned to watch the woman leave and sighed. "I have to leave too," she muttered to herself, knowing that if she really were a vampire she would here. "Just until tonight."
Alaiza smelled of blood. She had to be a vampire. Kachena shifted without fear, not caring if the girl saw her. She lifted into the air, flying with leathery wings back to where Daen was.
"I found one," Kachena whispered. "But she had to leave for obvious reasons."

Bats may be invisible at night, but broad daylight would leave them vulnerable.

"Well we want to blend in, yes? Let's go to the village, I suppose, and find a room." Kachena glanced back over to Daen and grinned slyly. "Of course, I don't plan on paying for it."
She dove at the village and toward a larger building marked as a tavern, sticking to the shadows. Kachena waited at one of the windows for Daen to come. "This one okay for you?" she whispered.

Catherine hated having the early morning shift at the Full Moon Tavern. She had to wake up earlier than usual, and all of the people, were, well, strange. When there were people at all, that is. Most of the time, it was empty this early. She sighed and flicked a lock of reddish-brown hair out of her face. She thought she saw something moving outside, but it could've been her imagination. "This job is making me crazy!" she muttered.

"Curious they leave these open during the night. Could invite some unwanted guests." Daen flitted to the window and shifted to his familiar cat as he touched the wooden floor. The room was dingy, as most things tend to be around that area. The bed was covered with only a few sheets and a lumpy pillow. A small oil lamp sat on a worn desk, and the bookshelf had only a few hand-printed books, including an old bible. As far as Daen could tell, not many people would want to come into such a room unless they were desperate.
((Why did they go to a hotel, when they'd be obviously more comfortable in the forest, or something, posing as animals? It just occurred to me, that's all.))

Alaiza had made it back to Dracula's castle. She quietly transformed into a bat and flew to an upper window, where she then changed back into a vampire. She rushed off to find her master, and when she did, she quickly informed him of her findings. "Master, I met some curious people in the forest," she told him.

((Alrighty, I'm going to be a hunter. Yeah...)) A wooden arrow sailed through the air, and softly landed in a cold body. There was a shriek of terror and a small burst of black ash. Evan picked some up and sifted it through his fingers. "The sweet salt of death..." The young man walked over to his arrow, and picked it up. He wiped the dust off of it, and put it back in his quiver. As he walked back to his village, he looked into the trees. He saw signs of life, birds chirping, little rats scurrying across the ground, and relaxed. The silence of danger was no where near. As Evan headed toward his village, he hummed a simple tune and ran a hand through his jet black hair. Evan was not particularly famed in his village, being as introverted as he was. Even so, he still loved his village, and was thankful no one knew about his destiny. The clouds built up in the early morning.

Alaiza nodded her head once, murmuring a "Yes, Master," as she did so. "Have a good rest, sir," she said as she turned to leave. She trotted down the stairs to one of the lower floors, and stepped into a room off one of the halls, closing the door behind her. She walked over to her coffin, a simple black thing with some hand done carvings by Alaiza herself, plopped inside, curling into a ball, and closed the lid behind her, drifting off to sleep.
