Nipped out to post a letter and have a bit of ride round and as I was on my way home I've taken a left hand bend (not very quickly I may add) and I've gone though a patch of gravel in the road and the back-end has just slid out from underneath me, dumping me rather heavily on my arse.

The scoot was sliding along (left hand side panel fooked) and I think the mudguard has hit the road (mudguard fooked), dug in and caused the scoot to flip over (headset, headlamp, brake lever and right hand side panel fooked). It did a full cartwheel up the road.

Bit of road rash on my left elbow, skinned my left ankle and I'm gonna have a bit of bruise on my left hip. Plus there's a hole in my jeans and I've lightly scuffed the left hand side of my crash helmet.

I was shaking like a shiteing dog for 10 mins afterwards and then had to push the fookin thing a mile home (I think it had flooded being on it's side).

On the plus side my new jackets OK and I could well get a new paint job from the insurers.

Oh! The pleasures of riding a scooter!!
