Posted February 15th, 2008 05:24 PM IP I LOVE the song, "The Lights Of Old Santa Fe". I do like "May the Good Lord Take A'likin' to Ya". Roy does a song I like, that I wasn't that familar with 'til a couple of years ago and it's called "Blue Bonnet Girl".
Enjoy hearin' Dale Sing "Aha, San Antone" and "Hazey Mountains". My favorite one of all that Dale sings is her own, "The Bible Tells Me So".
Of course, my all-time favorite has to be, "HappyTrails". I love to hear any version!! Happy Trails Forever,

Posted March 11th, 2008 08:49 PM IP This is a hard one as I like so many Roy and Dale songs. It's hard to choose just only one! But if I had to choose only one, it'd have to be the one written especially for Roy by his wife Dale Evans, "Happy Trails". Yee Haw!! May the Good Lord Take A Likin' To Ya,
Buffalo Jim

Yes, hard indeed, they are all so good, all of them. But Happy Trails is so famous, the whole Western world knows it.
KowboyKeith Say a mistake often enough and people will believe it is truth. Jesus said, "You shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free."

Next to Happy Trails, I like "Hoppy, Gene, and Me" sung by Roy. Most kids that grew up with Roy can relate to the lyrics of that song.

SAN FERNADO VALLEY is a good, up-beat song that is a favorite also.
This is a song that Gene Autry did, but Roy and the Sons of the Pioneers did back-up on for Gene, OLE PINTO from the movie -- " The Old Coral " .
Certainly one of my favorites.
