I've got a 2ooL with a 2030 enabler, that is print/scan. It prints fine, but the scan lite wont even lite.

Can you scan from one computer via usb cable?

The 202l requires the GM 1020 and 3020 for print and scan, or the GM 2020 combo enabler. Sounds like you have the incorrect enabler installed.

This is a 200L. It does take the GM-2030 for print scan.

Are you trying to twain scan or scan to file?
If the enabler is a gm2030 then it should light up when pressed.
Check the firmware version and update to the latest I know that fixed some issue with scanning (i don't remember what). Is the network setup or are you printing via parrallel?

Sorry I was in training for the last two weeks.
If you want to use usb then the machine has to be setup for twain scanning or use the old Toshiba Viewer program (NOT a good idea). The scan light is for the network scan feature.

But, with the scan enabler installed, the scan button should at least light up when depressed. Have you tried to remove the enablers and put the MFP into the 60 day trial mode to rule out a problem with the enablers? ED
