Posted November 12th, 2011 07:13 PM IP be aware of who's in your gargae or in our case our yard. we showed up to rd 5 (great job heard nothing but good things) listened to the pre-race breifing and thought who wold be so stupid to show up without an off road sticker and while we were reving our engines for the start (literally!) a monitor for blm reinforcment came by looking for stickers and my daughters wasn't there!! she has a new honda and had a sticker on it! never checked to see if we had one there still or not (anyone ever ck to see if your car licence plates are there?).this just isn't on our pre race check list. well, from now on it will be. after a closer look we could see where 'someone' had scraped the sticker off. the adhesive was still there and no dirt on it so it happened recently. well, i let my daughter ride my bike which she never rode and i watched as the race i had looked forward to rode on without me. so, this is a word of caution ck your to see if its there before you leave, there a wolves out there waiting to benifit and get what they need when they need it! dee dee

Posted November 13th, 2011 06:42 AM IP Thanks to all the people who read about my stolen licesnse sticker. You can see where they had scrapped the forks to get it off. It still had adhesive on it and I rode last weekend.
I really want to thank my mom for letting me use her bike. It was one of those get on my bike and go. we are riding partners and though it would be a good Mother Daughter race.
The volunteeer was great. He was doing his job and really good about me riding with other numbers. Other than that great day!

The bike wasn't allowed to start the race and with less than 2 minutes to start no time to have BLM run a vin

Posted November 14th, 2011 05:19 PM IP okay found out what happened. we had the forks worked on and the mecahnic said he took the sticker off and then it said void thru it (thats good in case they are stolen) and then he said it was put back on with packing tape. so, don't know what happened after that. our family feels like a bunch of idiots because of that. we are not the type to try and slide our way into a race. sorry! end of story dee dee
