PRELIMINARY USDR 2011 POINT STANDINGS - VERY PRELIMINARY
UPDATE - 11/17/11 - 12:35pm
GOT ALL THE GROUPINGS AND FIXED ROUND 1/2
a HUGE thanks to Brian at Moto-tally for workinghis butt off to get that all fixed up and awesome!
Still working on the "T" numbers. I have to do that and will not have it done till monday. so IF you have points for an event you rode as a "T" number you WILL NOT GET THOSE POINTS... AND similarly if there is a "T" number rider ahead of you in the standings dont freak out because it will be fixed next week.
AGAIN these are PRELIMINARY and will be official very soon. So if there are still any discrepencies you notice let me know (THROUGH A PM)and we will get them all fixed up!

awesome.... looks like my number might be either 14W or 17W next season... unless you split the number plates by class and rank then maybe I would be 7... we shall see! THANKS for a good season!

sweet thanks eric for getting that up. I am sure there will be some changes to be made but it isnice to have an idea of where we are at. I will wait till the official ones come out before i buy my number plates though.

THE CLASSES WILL NOT BE SPLIT. it wouldn't make sense to have three 7w's running around.
I'm working on grouping the classes as we speak and will have that up asap.

I know. Those were NOT scored with moto-tally so that has to be done on the back end by Brian (Moto-Tally Man). That is hard wired data that was copy / pasted into the data base. Once we get the groupings we will be sitting down and fixing all the little scoring things like Rnd 1 and 2 and the "T" numbers.

Round 1 and 2 are copy/pasted in and can not be edited on my end. Once I fix all the stuff on my end wee will work on round 1 & 2

I don't get why points are broken down by skill level & not just class.

Because that's how riders are scored. Experts against experts, novices against novices and so on...
So they end up being displayed that way... HOWEVER, if you read my entire post I will be grouping them together as they should be today. In the process now, but like most of you I have a day job to...
If people continue to NOT read what I actually post before asking a question or making a statement I will just stop posting this preliminary information and make everyone wait untill they are 100% final (which could take till after thanks giving) SO PLEASE READ ENTIRE THREADS SO THAT IF YOUR QUESTION HAD ALREADY BEEN ANSWERED YOU WILL NOT NEED TO ASK IT AGAIN.

Thanks for the hard work Erek! I know you are working on this so my questions may be premature.
What happens in the event of a tie in final points?
Also, it shows 48 points throughout for 2nd place intermediate. Is that correct?

Check for new updates!
Still wokring on Grouping, but now the points have followed over when you change a class (from AM to EX or BEG to NOV) and a few other class edits.
STILL NO UPDATES ON RND 1/2 UNTILL I FINISH EVERYTHING ON MY END.
EWC - I will give you a solid response on the TIE issue when I get back from lunch and review the rules on the USDR website (or you can and then report back )

theres no written rule on the site but here is the OFFICIAL RULING ON TIES IN USDR SERIES STANDINGS
in the event of a tie the victor will be determined by -Most number of firsts, then by most number of seconds, then by most number of thirds, etc. If there is still a tie, best finish at the last race, then next to last race, etc

there r 3 guys in the sr2 class that each have 46 points..each guy rode 1 race all year each finished 2nd..round 3 was 65r, round 4 was 68r and rd 5 was 59r....maybe that was his ?

On the main page under "race info", "points system" it shows 46 points for 2nd place intermediate. I scanned some of the intermediate class results and 48 points were awarded for the 2nd place finishes. I couldn't find anywhere that shows 46 points and thought something may have changed. Is it supposed to be 46 or 48?
If it is 46 then it will unfortunately eliminate the tie situation for 200 points in the S1 class when the skill levels are combined. If it is 48 then the tie will be resolved as you described above. It may also impact other class results as well.
Am I looking at something incorrectly?

Ahh man then who am I gonna talk about the good ole days with haha...The leg,s doing much better and it,s finally starting to feel kinda normal,im actually able to do a little jogging...Still hoping to get out to your place for a relaxing good time soon...
I,m stoked on my number for 2012,especially with only two races... #8r works for me.
