I was wondering if anyone from ridgecrest is headed down early sunday morning for just a day trip to anza.
I have a graduate thesis paper, tons of work to do for my job, and a pregnant wife at home. I just dont think i will be able to do the whole weekend thing.
anyway let me know.

its not looking good for the home team. I have not heard back from my thesis committee yet. I only have till monday to make any changes if they see something they dont like.
FML.....
Why does anza have to be so far away. cant we do cal city or something?

Anza isn't far away at all... Ridgecrest is what's far away.

No Ridgecrest is the Hub, The Mecca of the Dessert. The rest of you just don't know it Yet!

the weird part is I've NEVER EVER complained about Ridgecrest being far. Or Lucerne being far. Or Baja being far. Because thats just where it is, thats where the races are and thats where we have to go if we want to participate.
Its like complaining that there are to many rocks in the desert...

Agreed. Drove 6 1/2 hours from SLO county and had a blast at Anza.
Rocks? Haven't raced a USDR race with enough rocks yet. Bring them on!
