...someone took my triangle stand. If you by chance picked up a yamaha triangle stand with some pink duct tape on it, please let me know so I can get it back. I use it a lot!

This was my first time with USDR. I was impressed. It was very organized. And I loved the course! I don't know if I can make it all the way to Red Mtn for the rest but I will be back for the Summer Spectacular!!!!

One of the many reasons I love this sport so much. Almost everybody gets their stuff back when left/lost/picked up. Awesome. Good job to all involved.

I can't say enough good things about the usdr family, me and another guy both lost a GoPro in race 2 on that low hanging branch on the back side. I was in a pretty good battle for 2nd place in my class so I didn't stop to pick it up. Thankfully someone did stop and picked up mine and the other guys and turned them into Erek so we were able to get them back before we left. The honesty and integrity of the folks in this series saved both of us a few hundred bucks. A big THANKS goes out to whoever picked them up. Good karma to ya!!!
I also learned 2 interesting things on this trip that would help prevent this from happening to anyone who uses a helmet cam.
1. One of the guys in my class mounted the GoPro upside down under the visor and then inverted the image in the settings menu. That way its not sticking up waiting to be ripped off by that darn branch. It nearly got mine last year, this year it did. Haven't tried it yet but he said it doesn't really obstruct your vision.
2. Erek said its a good idea to put your name and # on the back of the camera so that anyone that finds it can get it back to you. Duh, I learned this in kindergarden when my mom wrote my name on the tag of my coat. How's that saying go? Anyway, I don't have a way to engrave it but a sticker probly works good enough.

Just thought I would pass on thanks and some useful insight.

Great race, can't wait for next round

Is that so you didn't get lost or your coat?

This weekend was a record for Go-Pros...we had three.

Hey JP, This is Jerry, (the other guy in your race) I wanted to comfirm that mounting my Go Pro under my visor worked great! I didn't notice it at all during the race. The video came out great with no obsructions in the picture (like the visor). I even got a great view off you passing me on the long back straight! ha.
rip it up!

In race 2 the guy taking pictures all over the track is the guy that found two GoPro's. I think his name is Jeremy from San Diego. Good guy I met him right before we took off for home. His first race with us and bet it wont be the last.

In I race two I saw a cam there under that branch. I told a guy taking pic's there was a cam in the dirt there. That same branch almost got my cam last year. I think next ANZA race I am going to bring a chain saw and lop that thing off. HAHAHA just kidding I did however think about it but this time I made shur to duck good each time.

I hit that branch too. No camera on top of my head, but being 6'4" it was a task to miss it!
