I'm hoping that I just heard some lame rumor that our Round 4in Anza is going to be cancelled- I really hope this isnt true. I'm really looking forward to racing there again!

There will be official information released on that this week. It will not be canceled, it will be rescheduled.

Lets reschedule it to the desert, and can we just save our entry from round 3 to roll over to the next round that we plan to attend. Thanks.

If you want it to be in the desert there needs to be more entries. There were 60 LESS in red mountain with nearly double the cost of hosting it. Wouldn't make sense to purposely bankrupt the series.

I'm in for Round 4 NO MATTER WHAT. But it would be great to know the venue and the date. I'm trying to rent a travel trailer and I need to know- I like the idea of having it at the Ranch, especially since the final 2 rounds will be in the desert.

I'm in. Just try not to schedule it on top of a big 6 GP race. Round 1 was bad enough to have to choose so I would hate to have to miss another GP

An official statement will be released this week... but just for you guys.
Round 4 will be rescheduled as the Series Finale... so the updated schedule will look like this
Round 4 SEP 22nd-23rd 2012 - Location Pending
Round 5 NOV 10th-11th 2012 - RED MTN, CA - CHARLIES PLACE
Round 6 DEC 14th-15th 2012 - ANZA, CA - JCR CARLSBAD CHRISTMAS CLASSIC
The Finale will be co hosted with the 2012 JCR Christmas Classic GP.
Saturday will be the USDR Event, same format, same rules. Race 1 - 1 hour +1 lap, Race 2 - 1.5 hour + 1 lap. Longer, desert style course.
Pending * Baja Challenge Team Race - 4pm-7pm (Into the night)
Sunday will be the JCR Carlsbad GP. Shorter Course, classes for all, 2 Hour Team Race at the end of the day. BONUS Pro Race open to all riders, BIG money purse just like 2011.
Its much better then sitting in the sun over summer! (2013 is already in the works for a GREAT Summer event, this year it just didn't come together as planned.)

How is that going to work out for points for all and transfers earned by the folks in race 1? The only one that wont be affected by the points would be the pro's since they are only in race 2.

good call erik. I have not room to talk.. LOL.. I wish i could do the things that you and the crew pull off. You host an awesome series and I am just happy to be part of it. I will keep my two cents to myself. for a little while anyway.
Im looking forward to finishing the season strong. and better my number from last year. My goal is to have a single digit V plate..
maybe one day.
I have one more class to finish my dual masters degree so maybe after that i can try to get a Hounds Scramble out here in the desert. I will need you to coach me thru the process though.

Well that sucks that there isnt another race til September. But thats the way it rolls I guess- Will is cost a rider more than the $55 for their individual race and $25 for the Team Race at Round 6?
Just curious, what prompted the postponment of Round 4? I'm NOT COMPLAINING, just curious-

Entry will be the same for USDR at Round 6 (and actually the GP entries will be the same for each individual race on Sunday)
