red sticker can run it because its considered a closed course. talked to dave and he said he's wanted to but doesn't know how it would work out and is focusing on expanding the regular USDR series before he gets into osmething like that but never count it out in the future!!!

I LOVE RACING AT NIGHT MORE THEN ANYTHING THOUGH!!! when Ryan and I raced Baja they asked "Who likes riding at night!?" and my hand shot in the air. I ended up with 140 miles of night section! Super stoked!!!

Well Ryan, sounds like you need to get this light thing figured out and the sell some more nuts so you can pick them up for OUR team!!! A night race would be way awesome and am excited at just the thought of it.

I /we will for sure be running a night race or 2. I have a couple on my calender already. I think I have the light deal figured out. I know what I want but this year I will settle for second best.

You definately gotta make it out the our Night Race! 5 hours plus one lap! Tons of fun! just for reference, last year it took the leaders 4 hours and 50 minutes to do 120 miles...

Ours is one of the toughest night races and most fun for sure!!!

But my brother and I are going halfers on a light set up for one of our 450s to do as many as we can!

Who are you going through for your light set up? I am also curious about what stator will work with a good light set up and where to pick one up. I have found only limited information about the stator issue when reading about the lights. It would be awesome if there was a all inclusive kit even though it would probably cost a fortune. Thanks for any info you have.

First check out www.cyclopsmotorsports.com they're based out of washington and make some of the brightest most durable lights. Their HID helmet light is brighter then most bike lights!!! They also are Baja Designs distributers. They also sponsor our Night race, Dual Sport and a whole host of other events.

then check out www.bajadesigns.com they are based out of Cali and sponsor the D37 Night race series as a whole. They have all the lighting stuff you'll ever need.

Also check out www.dejonghracing.com they provide performance LED set ups which is what I want to go with. They draw the least amount of energy, put out the most light and if a rock hits it there are 30+ little LED bulbs and only a few will break. If you break an HID you're done. ps. the photo on their front page is from the start of our Night Race last year!

I've heard good things about rickystator also. I'm planning on running the cyclops helmet lights and an HID something for this year. If I stumble into $1000 I'll be running Ridgids dual LED set up like Ereks Baja lights.

those lights were actually manufactured by Bill Boyer quite a while before Rigid started up. But exact same principle and they work AMAZING!

I used to not care about helmet lights but after using that CyclopsHID theres no other!!! Ryan actually Pre-Ran our night race with just that and he had more light then I had with a NiteRider and the stock KTM light!!!

Cyclops is Also coming out with LED helmet lights that are super bright.

I haven't used them but after checking them out and talking to the Cyclops guys (they sponsored our night race and came out to the Prairie Dogs round of the night series) they looked like a good cheap substitute for the HID.

I was actually thinking into talking to them about getting a tripple clamp mounted system set up for their HID Helmet light because that thing is more then you'd ever need!

Do you have one of thier helmet lights now? If so can you bring it to the next race? I would like to look at it. Also I could probably build you a tripple mount for it.
