Posted February 6th, 2012 08:30 AM IP Great course but a Horrible race for me. I went out yesterday prepping got the bike dialed in and all ready to go. Warmed the bike up some on way to the line and noticed the bike wouldn't idle right. Mike Stevens tried to help but idle screw just free spun. We just decided to let it go and race it. I lined up far right and go for it. I hit the second corner and couldn't turn right. I checked my stabilizer and it was on full. I went to hit the first table top grab top and bike stared choking and it died in the corner and each time I would step on back brake. So my first lap really sucked and took forever to reach the pits. I tried messing with it again and once I started to see yellow plates coming through I new my race was over. Pushed bike to the back of the easy up. I was about to give up and looked once last time and noticed my fuel idle screw was backed out of the carb. We got it back in and even though any chance of trying to have a decent race was done. I just wanted to get as many laps in as I could so I didn't have a DNF. It was so bad I think my own shadow lapped me. Great course loved the lay out. If not for bike problems I would have had a lot better mental focus. Oh well that's racing. Anza here I come. Posted February 6th, 2012 01:18 PM IP Ture I only have my self to blame. I need to check my cam footage I am prttey sure I got you plowing into that berm on the last lap. I was so tempted to go bar to bar with you after that but seeing how I was a lap or so down I didnt want to ruin your race. But there is ANZA. ARRGG Racing
