Unless they've made some changes, I think people are going to be disappointed. I was not blown away by it and I think that's what people are going to be expecting given how Dodge or SRT or whoever they are now has hyped this thing.

I thought it was a good direction. the gen 3 was too far of a step. (design wise, made it look like a vette.) It doesnt need all the glitzy led crap they had on the model but it was definately in the right direction.
You put current tech into a 96-97 GTS-ish car and people will be all over it. The gen. 3 will be forgotten by the wayside. jmho

Keith, Does it look anything like the Volado Design 2013 Viper renderings? how would you describe it and is what you saw the finished model?

Difficult to remember a lot of the details from a year ago last October, but I liked most of what I saw. It was not a real car and there was no interior to view.

The brother of one of my partners who passed, told me they were testing the new Viper at the proving grounds in Arizona. He could not elaborate other than to say they also had a ZR1 which they were using as a benchmark.

No it doesn't. It had some Italian in it. The T-Bar grill was gone. Still had the mail slot in the hood with two vents on either side, not three like the Gen4. Side exhaust was roval shaped. It had GTS like side gills and the double bubble top. The headlights were similar to the 458 Italia's. I hope they dropped the LED halo lights.
Here's the thing. And this is just my feelings obviously. Maybe I was expecting too much. I was hoping to be blown away by the car like I was the first time I laid eyes on the GTS. It looked good, don't get me wrong. But not good enough. Like Mike said, that was a long time ago and they've had plenty of time to tweak it so who knows.
