Saw someone mention this in another thread. Blog commenting just doesn\\\'t seem to be worth the effort, in my opinion, especially for a backlinks campaign. Most blog software by default makes sure that external links are nofollow, which makes them worthless. The time it would take to make a decent comment that would actually get approved would be better spent on a forum, where if you contribute decently you\\\'ll be free to use your signature for the links.
Not to mention that most people who are using blog comments as a way to insert links (which again, would be worthless in Google\\\'s eyes anyway) do it so poorly that it\\\'s unbelievable. The comments are stupid and no one would approve them on their blog.
