Here's a recipe for potpourri that I really enjoy & I thought I'd pass it along. Does anyone else have a recipe too or do you just dump things together? What do you use? I'd enjoy hearing what you all do.
Aroma of Christmas (I like it anytime:D)
3 sticks cinnamon
1/4cup whole allspice
1/4cup whole cloves
3 bay leaves
2 pcs. lemon
2 pcs. orange
2 quarts water
Bring to a boil, then simmer as long as you like. May store in refrigerator & simmer anytime to scent your home.
Just a note: In a pinch(like this morn;)) I've already just used orange peels and squirted some lemon juice into the mix. It works ok, but I like it best to slice the orange & lemon in circles & do it that way. Sometimes I cut the circles into 4ths then. Enjoy! :D |

Nope I never tried it! It sounds wonderful though. I usually just burn candles. |
