I'm looking to replace/add some house plants, and I'd really like to hear ideas of what other people have and like. I want something low-maintenance. If it has to be watered more often than once a week, I won't get it. My favorite house plant is African violets. They seem to thrive on my sporadic watering patterns.
Ideas? Could be greenery, flowering plants, anything. |

I have a peace lily that I water about once a week & every couple weeks use some sort of plant food or something & it does well. I'm famous for killing plants so I guess this thing is pretty hardy. I've had it for almost a year & a half. |

We have a lily, not sure if it's a peace on or not. It's hardy, but the tips of the leaves are always turning brown, and I don't like the way that looks. Is there any way to prevent that? Maybe the plant food would help? |

I have an angel wing begonia that is beautiful and I don't remember the last time I watered it. Maybe a month ago? I probably needs it by now! :-) |

Am I maybe watering it too much. For some reason mine gets fairly big than all of a sudden it breaks off, and there it has to start all over. I'm getting majorly impatient with it and am ready to dump it out. |

I like ivy. It actually does better if it's not watered too much. I killed several before I figured out that I was watering them too much.:) |

I'm a big fan of fake plants. They stay nice so much longer then real ones in this house and you can find some very nice ones too!!:) |
