The District has always had an Overall consisting of only the long desert races that start with a traditional 5 or 3 row start. 1st O/A would be the only one to get a trophy but wouldn't be able to run the number (as was Ryan's case last year)
However, this year Ryan and I were able to get a new rule passed. The top 20 Overall will be able to run their Overall number at all the desert races. Blue Back Ground and White Number. This season there were 12 events that qualified and Nick Burson took the overall at 7 of them (everyone he finished!) and walked away with the overall and the honor of running the #1 plate for the first time in D37 history! Nick also ran away with the Heavy Weight #1 plate (which will be H1 in '09)

10 - Anthony Modica
11 - Brian Sweeny

plus with honorable mention (to qualify you have to finish in the top 20)

28 - Colby Begin
39 - Steve Williams
56 - Daniel Kelly
65 - Charlie Barney
CONGRATS TO NICK BURSON!!! What a great season! and it'll be interesting seein you on the new ride next year (its a suprise!!!)

congrats to the district oa top 20. i hope d37 posts the rest of the oa results soon im anxious to see wut place i got. even though i only raced 4 races i hope i can get a number within the top 150. and kudla im a hwt and won 2 races for my class and came in top 3 the other 2 wouldnt i have enough points to be in the top 100.

you only get overall points if you finish in the top 20 overall in a hare and hound or desert scramble. not just in your class but out of everyone. |
