Ronnie Scotts last Saturday and Hamish was in good voice he really is a terrific vocalist' Set list as far as I can remember
Watcha' Gonna Do For Me
Lets Stay Together
Cherry Blossom Breeze(new song)
Person to Person
Two new songs (Did not get the names)
Queen of My Soul
Atlantic Avenue
HSB together with a three piece brass section. He was on stage for 75 minutes, two sets on the same night I am afraid leads to a shorter set but as previously stated he was in good form. Worth catching in the future and he is doing The Pizza Jazz Club Dean Street, London in April. Other than Rewind no news on London shows for AWB.

One day, Jo might get even be lucky enough to share a stage with the great man - Hamish - herself. He is, in my opinion, the best 'in the pocket' groove guitarist on the planet.

Here it is Dave. Hideaway is indeed a fabulous club, my artist Jo Harman plays there regularly (in fact she's there this Friday) and she also guested with Tony O'Malley's 'supergroup' consisting of Kokomo ex-members, the rhythm section (plus lead guitarist Adam Phillips) from Hamish's current band plus US guitarist Marty Townsend.
It's a small world..the top end of the UK soul/funk scene!

It's a crappy bootleg (it gets better!) but the groove was amazing, trust me!

Just thought I would mention Hamish played the Hideaway at Streatham last Friday there is a video on Youtube of the band playing PUTP, sorry I did not go as I live quite near but had to work. Hideaway looks a good venue. Will post something next week about the Ronnie Scott show. Sorry computer skills not good enough to put the clip on here.Hamish was playing with Brandon Allen and Quenton Collins.

Just in case anyone missed it Hamish is doing two shows (early and late) at Ronnie Scotts London on Saturday 25th Feb. No other shows have been announced. Seems to have stopped appearing at the 606.
