Ha, ha, ha !!! I am laughing too - at your coming up with that comment in the middle of talking about Alan's guitar riffs.
Is that the one where if you blink, you miss it?

Was listening to Forever More yesterday on You tube and noticed AG has been playing those type riffs for a long time. That led me to the movie clip for Permisive. First sequence of the movie AG's balling a girl and comes out the room hair and ass nekked. LMAO

YoYoYo! Check out Gorrie's guitar plucking on the Montreaux LIVE DVD of `CUT THE CAKE` as AWB slides off into to sum Famous Flames style Funk & Soul! So KOOL!

projectbaby - Couldn't agree more about Alan's superbly funky guitar playing. As much as I love his ultra smooth bass playing, the sparks really start to fly whenever he straps on his guitar as far as the many AWB shows that I have seen.

Lately Ive been listening to the best of Atlantic AWB. Today it struck me while listening to "Get it up for love" how funky the banjo type guitar part was. Had to look up who was playing it on the University of You Tube. lol
Again, it was AG. The mans sense of rhythm is way uncanny on guitar. His parts are just funky when he plays guitar. About 3months ago I was asked who I thought was the best vocalist of AWB. I said hands down AG. His backround style and intonation again is uncanny plus he can flat out sing. It was funny that his part struck me again because I was asked the question by a new member of the band. It's just my opinion. lol AG, usah baaad mofo.!
