TSWF is gearing up for its first event after a lengthy hiatus from the business as they kick off the "Road to the Gold" competition on January 6th in Brooklyn, NY.
"The Road to the Gold" will be a Round Robin with 2 groups of 4 entrants each. The top 2 from each group at the end of 3 matchups conducted over serveral events will advance to the Semi-Final round where 1A will face 2B and 1B will face 2A. The winner of those 2 matches will go to the Final round where the winner will be crowned the new Tri-State Championship.

These four will be spread out among the 2 groups and will be joined by...
JOHNNY BLAYZE - this relative newcomer to the wrestling scene is looking to make a name for himself in TSWF!
"THE AMATEUR" CHRISTOPHER HALLMARK - an accomplished amateur wrestler from the University of Florida, Hallmark is ready to "clean up" the industry.
MARK ADAMS JUNIOR - Yet another alumnus of the original TSWF, Mark Adams Jr. promises that this time the Tri-State will NOT allude him.
ELIJAH BLACK - some call him an Anti-Capitalist while others say Anarchist; either way he plans to tear up TSWF from the inside out.
- EZRA MALACHI - The 4th alumnus of the original TSWF, Ezra Malachi has some unfinished business that he would LOVE to settle with the likes of Clyde Kennedy and Shadoe Rage.
- ETHAN McBRIDE - The powerhouse known as "Eyes Wide Shut" Ethan McBride has signed on for the "Road to the Gold" competition. This sick, twisted individual believes he can help TSWF right its wrongs by becoming Tri-State champion.

* Johnny Blayze has a previous engagement on January 6th and therefore will not be able to compete at "Road to the Gold - Night One"
* Shadoe Rage is claiming that as the last holder of the Tri-State Championship during TSWF's previous instance, he should not have to go through a tournament to prove what he already knows - he is and always will be the TSWF Tri-State Champion. Therefore, he is bowing out of the competition and will be awaiting the winner at the very end, whoever they may be.

* 2nd Generation worker, Mike Gionet, has joined TSWF looking to achieve the same glory in the squared circle that his father, Larry Gionet, has experienced. With his addition to the tournament, TSWF officials worked to negotiate with Johnny Blayze and were successful in acquiring his services for "Road to the Gold - Night One".
