Posted November 11th, 2007 11:58 IP Hi
I want to create snow on buildings and the ground..... have done it before but this one is special...it needs to be right....not getting paid but offered to help a friend with a Xmas card.....he's the Mayor!
I know there are plenty of options to make falling snow but I want a realistic effect on the building and ground.
I have tried the following...
Make new layer above original
Then in original layer, select colour range (picking colours of building)
The in layer above fill with white
But, it is not looking right....
Any ideas please....
I would ideally love to have created overhangs of snow from the building and deep snow outside...
Help would be appreciated...
Thanks a lot
Ray

Posted November 11th, 2007 13:00 IP Ray, you can use lasso tool for some areas of your pic, save in the different layers and play with paint engine>arctic changing the settings of the Push intensity and Lighten. You can try in Stroke>Type>Intensity2 or play with other settings, I dont know which are the best
Hope this help!
Regards,
Dan
