Steve has been wanting to buy a keyboard, and I would like to surprise him and buy one for his thirtieth birthday that's coming up. I've tried to listen to every detail when he talks about them, but I still need advice in choosing one. I've got my search narrowed down to two. Here's my main question--he said he'd like to have one with 70 some keys, but he didn't expect to be able to buy that one. To stay w/i the price range I set, I can either buy that one in the Casio brand or buy the Yamaha brand with the 60 some keys. I take it Y. is a better brand...is the better sound worth fewer keys? I feel very clueless, so I'd love to have some advice.

Haa...I don't know very much about key boards. But we did have a Casio until we got our piano. I am not certain but I am guessing that it had 70 keys. For our needs it was great. I thought the sound was fairly good quality although I didn't have anything else to compare it with. From our little experience I would not be scared to buy a Casio again! Thank you SO much! Your timing is perfect...I knew I HAD to order it today in order for it to arrive in time for his birthday. I was leaning toward buying that one, but I do not like making decisions--especially something when it involves something this big. I have been praying the last several days that God would somehow confirm my decision, and I think this is it.

You weren't the only one being blonde. I just figured it out too. Do you think we spend too much time by a typing keyboard? Maybe we should get out more.
