Posted June 30th, 2012 11:46 AM IP I had a recipe for ranch seasoned pretzels and I can't find it. I need it for tomorrow evening. Anyone have one they can share with me please! The recipe I had called for oil, and different seasonings that you mixed and tossed the pretzels in it and then baked at a low temp. Jairia, mommy to

Posted June 30th, 2012 03:04 PM IP This is the one I use:
Snack Pretzels
1 C oil
3-5 Tablespoons ranch dressing mix
2 tsp garlic powder
2 tsp lemon pepper seasoning
2 tsp dried dill weed
1 tsp dry mustard
1 lb pretzels
Mix oil and seasonings. Add pretzels, stir until coated. Let stand 1 hour, stirring occasionally. Bake at 300 for 30 min, stirring every 10 min.
* I usually omit the dill weed and use 2 lb pretzels. I think it's plenty wet with only 1 lb. Deb

Posted June 30th, 2012 06:01 PM IP Here's a recipe we really like:
1 bottle Orville Redenbachers butter flavored popcorn oil (and if you can't get this, it's ok to substitute other oil, but this really does add to the flavor)
1 envelope ranch dressing mix (or equivalent)
1 tsp garlic
1 tsp onion salt
1/2 tsp dill weed (optional, my addition to the recipe)
3 lbs pretzels
combine oil, ranch, garlic, & onion salt. Pour over pretzels, shake together.
This requires no baking, but you could bake it, if you want.
We hardly ever eat 3 lbs pretzels at a time, so I often use 1 lb bag pretzels & approx 1/2 - 1/3 of the other stuff. ~rosalyn~
