Posted July 16th, 2012 08:33 AM IP I've just tried cous cous for the first time, and love how easy it is to cook. But the cous cous I got was preseasoned, so I need recipes. (I don't like to get mixes on a reg basis.) Side dishes, salads, casseroles... if you like it, I'd love to know how you fix it. Nancy, wife to Jason, mom to Mia Nicole, Jenna Lynn and Ryan Andrew

Posted July 16th, 2012 11:47 AM IP I haven't made this recipe yet, but I have a box of Couscous waiting to be used and thought this recipe sounds good.
Colorful Couscous
1/3 c. each - chopped onion, green pepper, red pepper
2 minced garlic cloves
Saute in 2 Tablespoons olive oil until tender. Stir in:
1 can (14 1/2 oz) chicken broth
1/4 c. water
1/2 t. salt
1/4 t. pepper
Bring to a boil. Stir in 1 pkg (10 oz.) couscous. Cover and remove from the heat. Let stand for 5 minutes. Fluff with a fork. Michelle ~ wife to Paul ~ mom to Trevor ~ 2
