Posted May 26th, 2012 09:44 PM IP I would really like to try cloth diapers this time around, but I don't want to spend $10-18 per diaper. I have been looking on ebay, but I guess I am too chicken to buy yet.
I really don't care of the brand, Fuzzi Bunzz, gdiapers, or whatever.
Any one have some they want to get rid of?
I am willing to spend up to $5 a diaper. I am actually hoping I can get some for that price with shipping included. See why I haven't bought any yet. Blessed mom to:

Posted May 26th, 2012 10:05 PM IP I bought a few from this seller on ebay. http://stores.ebay.com/Grape-Apple/...fsub=1380236017 and also this one http://stores.ebay.com/clothdiapernappy They are all one size pocket diapers so they will be pretty bulky on a newborn but they are cheap. Shipping can take 2-3 weeks tho since they come from China. Also I don't think they are quite the quality that say Fuzzibunz or Bumgenius are, but if you just want to try some without spending a huge amount these seem to be fairly decent quality. Another brand that is fairly cheap, but also comes from China is Kawaii Baby. Websites like www.sweetbottomsbaby.com & http://www.clothdiapersinc.com/ both carry them and have free shipping. Posted May 27th, 2012 11:24 PM IP I have 2 dozen cotton prefolds that I would love to sell. The size is approximately 11" wide and 13" long. I folded them in thirds and used them in gdiapers. They fit perfectly in the large size gdiaper cover. Unfortunately I already sold the gdiapers. For a smaller baby you could use them with snappies or pins and a diaper cover.
I also have some diaper covers of various sizes and maybe some newborn size prefolds that I could dig out of the closet if you're interested. I really need to get them out of my way, so I won't charge much. Does that sound like something you might be interested in or did you want to the all-in-ones?

Posted May 28th, 2012 04:41 PM IP I have 3 bumgenius one size diapers and 4 Kawai one size that you can have for $30 plus shipping. The Bumgenius (the solid color ones on the pic) I bought used and then used them on my daughter for about 9 months...so they do look a little worn. I bought the Kawaii's new and they're still in great condition. There may be a little staining here and there....not gonna say they're perfect!
I also have a Happy Heiny's diaper cover (no photo) that I would throw in for another $3
I don't have liners to sell you for these. You can easily use prefold diaper - just fold them and insert them in the pocket. Or you could make liners out of fleece, microfiber, whatever.

Posted May 29th, 2012 12:50 PM IP And I have close to 50 one-size Kawaii. I bought them brand-new for my twins and used them prob about 11/2 years so they are used, yes. still plenty of life in them, the aplix tabs are prob the most worn, but I figured I could easily replace them once they won't close well, since they're just sewn on. I'll put up pics if you're interested. Half are regular with snaps and half are the Goodnight Heavy Wetters that close with aplix. All come with double liners and fit 8-35 lbs. I'd be happy to ship them to you for $5/ea, shipping included.
I snapped some all the way (smallest size), some to the medium size and left one open to full size to give you an idea.

One is missing a snap but I was still able to use it without any problem. You can have that one at half price.

I think I have about 5 more that were described as extra soft. The elastic around the legs was tighter and would better fit a smaller baby. My sis-in-law has them right now but I don't think she ended up using them. If you're interested, I'll see if she's done with them.
I probably spoke too quickly about the shipping. I have no idea where you are or how much it will cost to send it there, but so long as it doesn't cost me more than a dollar a diaper, I'll still offer it that way. I'll do some checking and see what I come up with.

Posted May 29th, 2012 01:57 PM IP If Gentlewarriors isn't interested in the Kawaii, I would be interested in seeing pics of the regular ones (not the goodnight heavy wetters). ~Deb

Posted June 1st, 2012 05:34 AM IP I'm guessing it will cost you more than $1/diaper to ship. One thing that works depending on how many dipes you're shipping is to use a flat rate envelope that costs $5.00 to ship, although they're not very big. I guess I had better pass for now because I just bought some Kawaii on a co-op for cheap. ~Deb

Posted June 4th, 2012 01:58 PM IP I did some checking and by using a flat-rate box I think it could be done. I'm willing to give it a try anyway, if someone wants them. Lauretta—Happy wife of Andrew, blessed mom of Anson (11/30/06), Arwen (7/21/08), Sean & Cedric (3/19/10), Cherie (1/2/13)

Posted June 4th, 2012 04:44 PM IP Ladies, I haven't forgotten about this request of mine. I keep coming on here and looking at what you posted. But some financial things have come up since my husband and I have had our conversation about how much I can spend on cloth diapers, that I feel like I need to talk with him about these before I go ahead and tell you that I want them. So please be patient and I will come back and let you know. Thanks. Blessed mom to:
