I still have lots of pregnancy/mother's tea leftover from last pregnancy and was wondering if anyone would be interested in any. It is a loose leaf that I mix myself and comes from Mountain Rose Herbs. All ingredients are certified organic. The ingredients are Red raspberry leaf, Alfalfa leaf, Nettles and Peppermint leaf. This mix is very similar to what Rachel Weaver, "Be your own Doc" recommends. I like to add the peppermint for flavor and other health benefits. Here is an excerpt from her book...

Use 1/4 cup of tea mix to 1 quart of boiling water. Let stand for 15 minutes. Strain and sweeten. Add ice to make two quarts. This is enough for two days. Drink one quart daily the last five months of your pregnancy. Drinking this faithfully will really help to shorten your labor in most cases.

I like to make this in a french press. It is so easy that way. Recently someone told me they like to make their loose leaf in an iced tea maker with a coffee filter in it. I thought that sounded easy too.

Cost is $1.00 per ounce, plus shipping.
